Ahhh I can so see that lol. And graduation is actually supposed to be a very happy time. (Well high school graduation that is haha)

I'm graduating college, so this is a stressful time for me. Gotta find a job, have to pay off loans... sigh.

I honestly think TASM2 is gonna make TASM look like a little infant.
It looks like they took all aspects of the movie (action, photography, script, cast, humor, etc.) and upgraded/improved them.

Sounds like what Raimi did with SM2 in comparison to SM1.

That seems like a kinda random thought. I too hope we get a Spider-Man 2099 but set further into the future (because at this point I don't believe 2099 as a realistic timeframe for that comic's setting) perhaps 2199. But then I kinda like the name Spider-Man Unlimited for a movie along that plotline.

But definitely still use Miguel O'Hara. Might be a good idea too, to market to the ever-growing Hispanic-American population in 10 or 15 years or so when that movie would be made.

As far as Scarlet Spider goes it doesnt excite me much. But I'm not too picky. I'd even like to see a Spider-Girl movie, keeping an older Andrew Garfield on as her pops.

Scarlet Spider is stupid if they use the Kaine version, because it's exactly like Superior Spider-Man. It could work if they do the Clone Saga (which I hope they don't do, because that CAN'T work in a film).

I wouldn't do 2099 (or 2199). I would go for Spider-Man Noir.

Well, the original clone saga with the Jackal I think could work on film, but you would have to wait quite some time after Gwen Stacy's death takes place in one of the movies, otherwise it would be too soon. It would be a great way of getting Emma Stone back for more sequels.

I think Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man Unlimited, or Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles Morales) could happen if the GA gets tired of Peter Parker and gets a Spider-Man burnout. It would be a way of keeping the movies fresh after decades of movies about the same character.

Otherwise, as long as the character gets recast once in a while and doesn't get too old, IDK if audiences will get tired of him. That's how the James Bond franchise is still fresh after 50 years of movies.

Noir would be great too. Might be cool to see all of these options before another reboot. I'm sure the GA wouldn't complain either.

IF you went with any of these options, it would pretty much come off as a reboot though. I think at this point they have to focus of the cinematic universe they are setting up and expand it before rebooting. This also means recasting whenever necessary to keep the storylines going.

I think they should recast with every new story arc within the cinematic universe. So the parents/Norman Osborn storyline is Andrew Garfield. Someone else should replace him depending on whether or not the Sinister Six is directly involved with the first trilogy or not, but I also assume its a story that won't be isolated within one film (TASM4), so that could be the start of a new trilogy.

It would be a continuation, but considered a "semi-reboot." Its part of the same universe, but now we are starting fresh with a new Spider-Man. They do explain how he gets his powers, yes.

Miles' uncle is the Prowler, and he steals a Spider from Oscorp, similar to the one that bit Peter that was full of the OZ serum. When Miles goes to visit him, he gets bitten and gains spider powers shortly before Peter's death, and realizes he could have saved him if he helped. Mm I actually didn't notice that that's what Raimi did as his goal in the 2nd one. I haven't watched those movies in a while.

Good luck with graduating. I'm sure you'll be fine. It's all about meeting people and presenting yourself well. At least from what I've learned.

Maybe the spider part is a bit strange, but I like the "responsibility" reason. Pretty nice tie to the old series.

I think I might dislike him even more after reading this. I stopped reading the Ultimate series when Peter died. There really isn't much modern comics I read anymore since peter is dead in like all the series, and Kaine is Scarlet Spidey

Kaine's Scarlet Spider serious is fantastic, he's trying SO HARD to be brooding and angsty, but his friends simply won't let him be, it's charming and hilarious. Miles is a lot more interesting than Peter has been since OMD, which destroyed his character.
