can somebody please tell me why the trailer is being shown on disney channel please . does sony has an agreement with disney or what

yea i know that too, but i know disney channel only show a movie trailer that related to disney like thor tdw and im3. but now they're showing tasm2. what would that possibly mean ?

It means Disney is showing the ASM2 trailer. The movie might be Sony's but merch sales are all Disney. They have a vested interest in promoting the hell out of it whether it's in-house or not.

seriously though, the german trailer is significantly darker in its colour pallette. do you think this is indicative of the final product because it is a more recent trailer than the december 5 ones?

i was really digging the bright colours..

The first trailer for ASM had bright colors too and ended up using a dimmer tone with a more 'realistic' looking color palette for the final cut. Who knows how they'll adjust the coloring for ASM2.

I think they opted for a dimmer tone with ASM because they were embracing the realistic world that Webb was trying to create. I could see them attempting to keep things in line with that creation in ASM2. However, based on the direction they are taking with this movie they could also try to make ASM2 more like a comic book and use a brighter color palette. IMO, they seem to be embracing the lighter side of things given Peter's joy of being Spidey, the action, the humor, the improved web swinging, etc. I dunno man, who knows what they'll go with.

It is him. And I have nothing against Dane, I'm sure he'll but fine. But even with Cooper saying that as Norman, he still sounds so Goblin-esque to me.

IMO, I would say they'd save Norman's Goblin for the next movie however I keep going back to Webb's quote that went something like "you think you know, but you honestly have no idea."

Yes, but to base a narrative around them, be it a novel or a 2+ hour movie, you need to care about and root for that character in some way shape or form, otherwise, there is ZERO point to any of it.

Take Dexter for example. Great character drama, now imagine that we're supposed to root for another character to take Dexter out, even though we've spent several books/seasons getting to know this character, no matter how twisted he may be.

They did that with Lundy in season 2 and it was awesome. Or look at Walt and Hank in the final season of Breaking Bad.
