I posted this elsewhere, but I wanted to ask about it here: what do you guys think is happening at this scene? She has this grim look on her face, so I think something is bound to happen.

Your theory on unveiling the power plant seems very likely. I like that one.

Fooling us in what way?

Well in the comics and other mediums, we were often misled regarding the identity of the Goblin. In Spectacular Spider-Man, we were led to believe that Harry was actually the goblin when really it was Norman. Marc has certainly shown that he admires SSM. I don't see it happening, but it would be nice.

Oh. Well it's obviously Dane Dehaan. Norman may set up Harry to take the serum like in TSSM, but I don't think there are any switcheroos. Not in this particular film anyway. It does look to me like Norman took a faulty serum sometime in the past, though.

So I've never noticed the pictures of young Peter when Harry reveals Oscorp has been watching him. I just never paid attention. So is there something special about him that they needed even that far back? Hmmm... I love the mystery.

I think so too..To be fair though, there's an article on CBM with a whole theory about it. They pointed out that in the first movie (SM1, not ASM) they had a shot in the trailer of Spidey pursuing the burglar in his normal suit as opposed to the wrestling suit so as to not give away plot details. It seems possible (However, EXTREMELY unlikely) that they might change Goblin a bit. I highly doubt it, but I wouldn't be disappointed. I'm not crazy about the new design for Goblin.

I love how Goblin looks. Probably my second favorite Spidey film villain visually after Electro.

Has anyone guessed what the last shot in the movie is yet?

I know you've seen it so I'm giving a few suggestions, can you tell me if any are correct (don't be specific!)

Peter looking at the city
Peter at the grave
A watch/clock

So my test of willpower will be starting soon, then. :hehe:
When trailers are classified, they usually release like a week later. So we're probably getting it next week.
Oh. Didn't know. Even better!

Same. Who knows I might dislike it after seeing it more clear but I doubt it.

This guy.

Yup. Some have suggested manhole.

The manhole as the final shot of the film? Really? Lol.

I can buy it. It would be pretty awesome to have the movie end with Spider-Man hitting Rhino with the manhole cover as an alternative to the standard final swing.

I can definitely see it as the "unveiling" of the power plant. If I'm right, I'm buying myself a ice cream sundae.

I think I might know what it is. Yurka posted a spoiler tagged tidbit a while back that I wish I hadn't clicked on. Especially if it's true and in the final cut. It's pretty interesting and I don't think it's ever been done in a Spider-man story before. I just don't know if I should post it. I'd rather it not escape and it get spoiled for everyone. I'm surprised it wasn't spread all over the internet the first time he posted it.

So something does happen at that bridge scene. I guess I would rather not know, but speculation is good enough for me right now.

I don't, especially if Gwen dies in this film. I don't think Spidey will be fighting anyone after the goblin fight.
