It definitely does. You can tell that Peter is pissed at his parents for abandoning him for no reason.

Seems to me like this could be one of the few superhero movies which not only makes you sympathise with the characters but also enthrals you with resplendent visual effects. Really excited and looking forward to this one

Agreed. I know Webb is the maestro to handle the character relationships, and I think the visuals looks astounding. I wanted to ask TeeKay what he thought of the visual effects since he said going in he was a skeptic going in. I figured I'd leave him alone and not barrage him with questions, but I gathered from what he did say that he thought it looked good. t:

I think he has a right to his opinion.... But sometimes, Anno DOES take things too far and makes personal jabs.

Dude! They have great chemistry. I love how we're seeing the softer side to Harry after we've seen all his "Everybody in this table works for me." When he says,

did you ever figure out why your parents bailed?"

I got the sense of hurt in him.

And check out Peter's voice! He definitely sounds his age haha. I think their lack of parents type of relationship is great. I laughed at the end of the clip.

I like how grounded the dialogue seems.

Wonder wtf's up with Andrew's voice, though. Doesn't even sound like him, at a few places.

About Anno,I understand him loving TDKR so much.Everyone has their favorite movie/franchise that they will defend to death but spending so much time to hate something and bringing out stupid nitpicks was beyond me

He spends hours debating about how SM1 was unrealistic since it doesnt show the police investigating the burglar's death or how they didnt show Peter making his costume
