Several people in this forum have argued that "Webb knows what he is doing" and that "it doesn't matter who kills Gwen so long as she dies."

But I don't even believe the rumor myself... I'm taking it with a huge pint of salt.

yeah because that logic works, the fact the death sets up GG as his arch rival and is the whole basis which the dynamic between the 2 is built



sure if we go by that logic why not just have kal-el shuttled off because his parent are teenagers and can't raise him, sure he ends up on earth anyway so it doesn't matter. or have rick jones take the blast sure as long as someone becomes the hulk

Should there be a second villian beside goblin in the next movie?

I don't see venom being in next movie.I can though see the symbiote making an appereance in next movie.

I also see an apperance either Dr.Octavious,Miles Warren making an apperence in some form in ASM3.

I think Goblin is formidable to hold his own as the single villain of a film. Give me some badass aerial combat between Spidey and Gobby among the skyscrapers of New York, with lots of pumpkin bombs and whatnot, and I'll be happy.

electro's costume was to be expected i would have liked something influenced by the marvel nights look but i knew it would be ultimate based

can't say i knew about the possible eddie appearance but it would have made an interesting dynamic for peter but meh


kinda disappointed this, i should have known not to expect a full on goblin on glider but i will enjoy looking for the build up though i still feel we will get screwed and end up with hulk goblin

BULL ****ING ****, i dont know how many people on here know me as a poster, i know some of the older member will and most that do will tell you i have little to know love for gwen stacey as a character, i always found her boring and feel she's been over hyped by the fan base

but even i know that if you have the death of gwen stacey in a film it is by the hands of the green goblin, look i know that info isn't fully known but with the news that this film will only have one major villain and she will die then sorry but this is a change to the source that goes overboard.

Keep in mind, these movies are made for the GA, not comic book fans. Most people won't care whether its green goblin or electro killing Gwen. Remember how Trekkies reacted when JJ Abrams destroyed planet Vulcan and created an alternate timeline in Star Trek? Yet, overall it's considered a very well made movie, and received critical acclaim from the GA and critics. So there you go.

It's also possible that Foxx is trying to not spoil a green goblin appearance at the end of the movie.

Yes I, someone who rarely posts who really likes The Amazing Spider-Man, is showing bias because I am against people telling others not to have a different opinion other than they love the film, like me.

Not necessarily. Also depends on what you mean by "properly." If I want something exactly like the comics... Then I will read te comic books. When I watch a comic book movie, I expect something different.

Same with Joker killing Bruce's parents in the Tim Burton Batman movie, or Bane's origin being changed in TDKR.

Picard, with all due respect, I think you are making a false dichotomy between movies "made for the fans" and "made for the GA." There's nothing in the Gobby-kills-Gwen iconic scene that would turn off the GA...

Venom is random. What does he have to do with anything?

Yes.They could keep Gwen Stacy till ASM5 and then it isn't confirmed but it has been teased various times that they will do venom storyline in future.This could be at the end of this trilogy where Peter can use symbiote to kill Green Goblin and then he meets Eddie Brock.When he turns into Venom, he can go on rampage to kill people and then he founds out that Gwen used to be close to Peter so then he follows Gwen and kills the way Carnage did.

Please note these are just my ideas and that's it.I am not saying this will happen but can happen.

Might as well make it Electro who kills her then.

I doubt that's what will happen even with a remote possibility because if it happens then this franchise will go down in drain.
