You know the Spider-Man forum is bored when you start playing backwards word games.

Please Sony, give us a confirmation, already. If the forum is like this in January with no confirmation, imagine what it will be like in July (SDCC). Spider-Man is a weird franchise, it got rebooted with a 890m box office and is stalling on an announcement with a 700m BO (a figure beaten only 7 times (TDK, TDKR, IM3, Avengers, DoFP, Cap 2, Guardians).

lol yeah I just went back and looked at the last page and thought people where just typing random letters or something. Yeah sm has became a weird franchise. sm 1 was the start of CBM being big and now after sm3 like no one wants a sm movie with sony any more. In the OT the best one sm2 made the least and the worst one sm3 made the most. I think if any thing if sm stays with sony it is going to be 2017 before we see s6 or any thing. The movie with a 2016 date should have some news by now and with all the rumors something has got to be going on witch makes you think that s6 if happends has now been deyland.

I don't know if Andrew Garfield was ever really "FIRED." It seems more like he has to be let go because he doesn't fit into any of the studio's plans... they either reboot with Marvel, or reboot without Marvel.

Witch is stupied because sony is better off just doing asm3 then another reboot if they keep sm.

when Sony finally reveals the fate of Spider-man, i´ll be like:

Sure fells like it doesn't it lol.

So Sony made $25 million on TASM2, so for TASM which made a little more can we assume it made $30 to $35 million? So for this iteration of Spider-Man that made almost $1.5 billion and only got not even 4% of that, people are saying that Sony should tell Marvel to walk?

It would be interesting to see how much asm1 made. I think it must have made a little more then just 30-35 million because asm2 made 24.5 million and I believe that asm had a budget of 230 million compared to asm2 250 million so that is an extra 20 million. Now if you add that extra 20 million that is already 44.5 million and with all the talk I think they spent more on marketing for asm2 has while. Finaly asm1 made about 54 million more in box office then asm2 and most of that was in the USA so there for that 54 more would be a little extra money they got back so I would think they made more like 80 million or something.

If TASM3 gets made I'd like to see Peter move away from Queens and into a Manhattan apartment. Getting accepted at the Daily Bugle and finally introducing JJJ. I like the idea of Peter falling for Felicia in the first half, who has become Black Cat. The opposite of Gwen's philosophy who loved Peter Parker and not Spider-Man. Not wanting to enter a proper relationship because it hurts too much. But then Mary Jane enters the picture and his mindset comes full circle again. I think Mysterio would be a good villain choice - especially if JJJ is introduced in the flesh. Spider-Man being framed for all sorts of crimes and cementing JJJ's distrust of Spidey. And the possibility of Gwen holograms/illusion cameos is also there.

It would be cool to see black cat and we do need to see peter thinking trying to move on form gween and I really want JJJ back. Not having JJJ is something the OT had that we have been missing a lot form asm1 and 2.

I remember as a kid waiting in line to see Star Wars, and after a while a few of us would make up goofy games to pass time. This thread right now reminds me of that.

So, yesterday, my daughter comes running into the kitchen from her playroom a bit scared and pulls me by the hand into her room to "show me something." When I get there, she points to the corner of the room on the wall. "Ah, I see." It was a spider. I went back to the kitchen and grabbed a small bit of napkin and walked back into her playroom...but then, I thought a moment...hmmm. I put down the napkin, walked over to the spider and scooped him up into my hand, walked over to the front door, opened it and set him on the ground and let him go. See, Sony, it's not that hard.

Sony would have walked in her room with a bucket of symbiote, drown the spider in it, electrocute it, then have a rhino stomp on it.

Then walk out of your house with the hands opened expecting a billion dollars to fall in their hands.
