There's a shot of him mid-transformation in a labcoat. That's probably the scene Poni was talking about. The fully transformed Lizard seems huge and naked.

The thing I'm not so fond of with the Lizard pics is that he looks like something inbetween Ditko's Lizard and the long jawed McFarlane one.

As it feels now, I would have prefered them to make him either more humanoid or more beastly.

But I'm confident that I'll probably love it when it's in high quality

I know what you mean. I think it's the yellow underside to the chin that's kind of like the Koopas from the Super Mario movie.
I'm so glad we got those profile pics. If it was just the straight-on view, I wouldn't feel so good about it.

So to review...
Connors in lab coat while transforming: check
Lizard with elongated snout: check
Green coloration to Lizard's scales: check

I've got nothing to complain about.

It could still change. He seems mostly CG and The Venom design we got at comic con for SM3 and what ended up in the movie was almost night and day.
