You don't understand my point....my point is simply with people calling this reboot more faithful and it's clearly not more faithful. It's pretty much going halfsies with everything as much as Raimi did because while he used certain 616 elements and other major characters of Spidey lore, he also used organic webbing and what not. It's not any more or any less faithful.

But none of that matters because ASM is more faithful where it counts, in areas audiences aren't accustomed to.

I had a great time with Avengers. It was fun and well made. Hulk was awesome, and the action scenes were spectacular. But I'm more waiting for TAS and TDKR, because both movies will have more engaging stories, with a heavy dramaturgy, which will make the experience more intense to me.

I agree with all of this. I think in this case its also good Sony has it and not marvel. I don't want to see Samuel L Jackson show up in the middle of the movie for no reason.

Sony Pictures Germany visited my blog which is dedicated to "The Amazing Spider-Man"!! And guess what!!! I'll be receiving free tickets for the german premiere of the film on June 20th in Berlin!!!

Andrew, Emma, Rhys and Webb will be there too!! t: I'm sooo happy guys!! I can't describe what I'm feeling.. I was downtown when I got the message. I just wanted scream out loud but I couldn't ^^

The best thing about it is: they even allowed me to start a sweepstake on my blog! It will start next week, but it's only for german residents though. They can win another 2 tickets for the premiere...

So...TAS-M is more faithful because it only adds three more elements to what Raimi had(webshooters, wisecracks, Gwen Stacy)?

To be fair, I personally never said that this film would be more faithful to the comics. And if I did in someway imply that, I just that meant that based on the footage and interviews, ASM appears to be much more faithful to the characterizations. Even though the previous films were pretty faithful to the origin, imo, the characters were either lacking or off (whether due to the writing or acting) which was why I never really felt like I was watching Spider-man or even cared for the main protagonist.
