Use your imagination here for a minute. There is a report that gives details on what the Penguins Winter Classic Uni will look like.

Take this Blue Jersey.

Flip the colors so the Navy Blue is the primary color and the stripes are powder blue. Remove the diagonal "Pittsburgh" and replace it with this old logo.

Voila. One Winter Classic Uni.

washington - the washington wizards are turning red, white and blue.

Team president ernie grunfeld said thursday the wizards will change the colors of their uniforms for the 2011-12 season.

The switch is spurred by new owner ted leonsis, whose washington capitals also wear the colors of the u.s. Flag. Leonsis has said the desire for new colors was among the top suggestions he received from fans after assuming control of the team earlier this year.

The wizards, who open training camp next week, will spend one last season in their current colors of slate blue, black, gold and white.

i think it'd be nice if Washington went back to red white and blue or if a city stuck with conformity in its teams.

And see I've always thought that was rather boring. And actually the Penguins didnt start out black and gold, they changed their colors from being powder blue and navy after 1979 when the Steelers won the Super Bowl and Pirates won the World Series.
