Is that a tire tread across the front shoulders?

I guess that's appropriate given how UT's played in the SEC the past decade. :D

Honestly, minus the tread pattern it's not a terrible idea, it looks OK. The execution isnt perfect, but the gray doesnt look altogether terrible. I know they wear it for Basketball sometimes so the color isnt completely out of the blue.

This is only a 3rd jersey like ND's correct?

I like the purple away and white home jerseys. I don't have a problem with the short sleeves but there's way too much orange going on there.

Saw much better concepts done by others than what they ultimately ended up with.

It's the new material that Adidas is subjecting all their sponsored teams to. Adidas makes some horribly fitting and looking football uniforms. Every stripe, loop, logo, and number looks distended and ugly with their Techfit uniforms.

getting rid of the shoulder yokes and minimizing the orange is a positive.

the lack of a hem stripe and the front numbers still suck though.

Sleeves on basketball jerseys..isn't that sacrilegious or something?

Any current basketball jersey looks brilliant compared to the crap they put out in the 90s.

Me either. People complain too much about change IMO.
I like 85% of the uniforms in the NFL, and I prefer modern unis to classic unis... but the Jaguars look atrocious. I've seen Arena football teams with better uniforms. Who's bright idea was that horrible helmet two-toned helmet? And why does black need to be the primary color? They had a good thing going during the Leftwitch/Garrard era, they should have modernized those uniforms.

It looks like they took a linoleum floor pattern from Home Depot, and slapped it on a helmet.

I hate when this thread comes up, always seeing teams ****ing up their unis. Only a few exceptions.

i'm so embarrassed for my state right now

to rectify that above, here's something pretty cool. someone took it upon their self to redesign the NFL logos. some of these i think are pretty awesome

The Animal ones in particular are pretty sweet. And that Raiders one is spectacular.
