And holy ****, he blew my mind. Yes, it was definitely way better than the sand VFXs from The Mummy.

Mephistophelian said:What would be cooler? Sandman crushing Spidey within himself in a large hunk of sand that he'll probably swing himself out of, or the black suit crushing and soffocating him with no way of escaping, except for loud noises (and hopefully not fire)? Visually I am more excited to see the black costume's effects in such ways that make Raimi's dark action movies so good. It will make Sandman seem like child's play, because I'm guessing the suit will have a profound effect on Spidey's overall power, and it's perfect for the Raimi mood!

You wanna talk about visually amazing...have you ever seen the movie Swamp Thing...go see that and come talk to me. Lol.CrypticOne said:Thank you.
Sandman. I just can't wait. He'll be amazing to see on the silver screen. What they did with Doc Ock visually in the second movie was amazing. Just think what they can do with Sandman. Just beautiful.
CrypticOne said:Spider-Man 3 is shaping up to be a classic. I don't hear alot of Sandman on these boards. I wonder why? He is the main villain of Spider-Man 3, and the biggest threat to Spidey in the movies so far. We probably won't get Venom until the end, and maybe just for 10 minutes.
I've been having this, its not an idea but, something about Sandman. In this movie, can you imagine the impact he will have? Visually and on the story of Spider-Man 3. I wonder what Sam has in store for us when, come May 4, we take our seats in the movie theatre and experience what Sandman will look like when he is attacking Spidey with sand. Can you just imagine Spider-Man dodging sand? Jumping from building to building. It will look amazing, in short ladies and gents. What weapons will Sandman use to destory, or hurt Spidey? Sandman can mold into anything. Can Spidey even match up to Sandman without the help of the symbiote suit? I think, to be realistic, that Venom will be Sandman's undoing. What do you guys see? I'd love to hear your thoughts, your fresh expertese.
James"007"Bond said:See, the bold text are things that should have been attributed when spidey fought doc ock but on a much larger nd more impressive scale. Imo, Doc Ock is the only villain that really challenges and brings out the best of all of spider-man's abilities, physically and mentally. All this dodging and ricocheting around is something there should have been excess of in spider-man 2.
