The action they did with Doc Ock was amazing, I swear, no matter what they do with any villain...us greedy bastards will always be begging for more. Do this, do that, they should add this, they should have added that...like a bunch-o-needy-freaks.

people have said sandman will be a lot like what we've seen in the mummy movies, and thats what people will think of when they see him do his thing. i think to avoid that they shouldnt have anything where lots of sand is blowing around and such, but stick more to him using rock hard sand hammers and the like

I would like venom to merge with sand man at the end to create one villain called Black Sand or something making it easier for Spiderman to take down only one villain instead of 2 and everytime spiderman fights Black sand you see the tiny venom sand particles falling all over him trying to reform and take control of him again.

... and the symbiote plus a new host = venom... after all... when this particular symbiote is on anyone.. it still calls itself venom and still has the same thoughts... and still controls the person the same way.. only difference with brock in the comics was that he was able to control it at one point and turn himself into sort of a hero... until of course it wore down his mind and took over him again

again... the symbiote (wich in control of its host) acted the same way with brock, or without him... with scorpion-venom... its just looks different.. its hosts have a bit of control at first.. but all in all the symbiote is the real villain... it drives people to do things.. hell it also killed the fortunato dude who wore the suit because he felt he was too week... the symbiote also resents brock because of his weakness ... brocks biggest flaw is his humanity.. he never lost it.. wich is why he turned venom into a hero... and why he sold the suit at auction and then attempted suicide by slitting his wrists

Come on, spideyboy. You know where I'm coming from. When Brock dies, so does Venom. You can get into the whole "symbiote/comic connections and hosts and blah blah blah", but let's get real here. Venom will always be associated with Eddie Brock, and no other character can take that claim in the general view of things.

well.... the symbiotes weakness is sonic waves.. and fire.. and brocks weakness is his humanity and guilt.. sooo chances are.. and hopefully are.. that we see parker use his brain and use the fire or noise to rid eddie of the symbiote.. and eddie either dies right after.. or kills himself.. who knows maybe hes in the process of trying to kill MJ... and thats when Harry kills him.. and in the process harry dies as well... (because harry dies as well)

well yes.. the Venom we know is with Eddie.. but with or without him, hes still Venom...

I never thought about it like that. I guess the only logical way for Eddie to die is without the symbiote on....

....so I'm guessing the bell (from the same tower above the church) either goes off or some loud noise makes the suit leave Eddie, but he continues to try and kill MJ. Harry flies in, BAM...both Harry and Eddie die! Probably from a pumpkin bomb explosion (maybe Harry pulls it out and knows he will die but takes Brock with him) ^^^Logical to me.

Yeah, but I think that pushes them to do more. They get new ideas from us and I think they want us to want more. I don't think that the SM3 crew will leave us dissapointed. Especially in the visuals department.

When Eddie Brock dies, Venom dies. If the symbiote attaches itself to anyone else whom is not Eddie Brock, they are not Venom, period. If the symbiote does return, no doubt they'll use Carnage. Unless the symbiote can bring Eddie back to life...ya never know. Or maybe Sony/Marvel/Raimi changed their minds about killing Eddie Brock.

Why don't they put brock in jail, where he belongs? I think killing Eddie so early is a huge mistake, i mean just send him to jail, he doesn't have to escape. killing that character is a bad move, IMO.

Do we have reliable evidence that Eddie is going to die? or Venom? Or anything? I know what it's like being a fan and speculating, but this is getting a bit too particular, and lets not forget the thread topic... This is sandman people!
I remember when x3 was about to come out and everyone was talking about "what if cyclops died, that will be ridiculous", then when it actually happened it made it even worse because you had been waiting for it. I think spider-man is the one franchise where you get surprised. Raimi knows what he is doing i mean, he's done well so far! Lets put faith in the old boy shall we?
I'm interested to see how they deal with sandmans past... I really want to get into a nice dark criminal's mind, like with GG in Spidey 1 and Doc Ock in 2. That's whats gonna be awesome... We all know raimi will do Venom justice... i just wanna see clear, decent footage of him then i'll be able to sleep soundly right up until may 2007!
