Why's that? All we've seen so far is Sterns' head start to mutate.

But wasn't there a tie-in comic or something that mentioned him being locked away a while ago? Maybe my memory is messing with me.

Hulk has had the least amount of carry over from his solo film so far, so if they were to do a version of the Masters, I think they should find a way to work Abomination and Sterns in (Hammer too...maybe he finances the team).

I definitely see Abomination being in the Masters, and I'd love to see the Leader. I just don't think he'd be on the team if he isn't leading it. I hope I'm wrong, though.

Forgot about Hammer, yeah, he could very well fund the team. He said he'd be back, so they should follow up on that. I don't think Rockwell has any huge movies lined up, so he could be up for it.

Leader was arrested in the Tie-In where it showed that Black Widow was like in all the locations of the Avengers in their solo movies. She tracked him down and he was being crazy I think and had him arrested.

Maybe the infinity gauntlet or SW's powers causes the universes of Fox and Marvel to combine....

That'd be swell. But I don't like these two characters that much so i don't care if Fox uses them as throw away characters. Let Avengers fill their roster with other fan favorites (Ant Man, Wasp, Ms Marvel, Black Panther etc)

Why on earth would Marvel want to work with Fox? They've been nearly disastrous with their characters. They've made 9 Marvel films and only 3 have been good. That's right....only 3 out of 9! DOFP sounds like an epic train wreck of a film being written purely to try and fix an epic trainwreck of a cinematic timeline. Good luck with that!

Or maybe Mark "Captain Extreme Cannibal" Millar will save the day? Well, he may actually need to, you know SPEAK with some of the filmmakers first?

What a *****ey move on Fox and Singer's part! Screw Fox! Screw Sony! I'll never pay for another Fox/Sony Marvel film again.

With so many characters in XMDOFP, I'm pretty sure most of them will be a couple of minutes/seconds worth of cameos. Like the 42 armors in Iron Man Three.
They're just trying to put as many characters as possible with that storyline.

They wish. Whedon's iteration will be written 10,000X better than Singer's. Have you ever had the misfortune of watching Superman Returns? That was a character Singer supposedly "cared about" too. This is merely an "F You" character in an already cluster*** of a film. I shudder to think...

Hate to bring this up, but LokiD told me all about this personally months ago. Wanda and Pietro, as avengers and Quick Silver and maybe scarlett witch being in Days of Futures past, and how the two studios are working up a shared universe, aside from many other things comic related too, which has been accurate from what I've read so far.


Marvel is just winning right now. that's all. I'm betting the fox movies will be another "timeline"/universe (since it seems like the multiple timeline thing in gotg), in a bigger cinematic multiverse.

What I'm saying is that I've followed Whedon since Buffy. The man is big on original thought (well as original as you can be adapting a comic book) and does *not* like to be stifled creatively (he happily saw Buffy switch networks due to creative issues).

Whichever way you look at it this will effect what Whedon had in mind in terms of the similarities of how the characters are portrayed, how Singer's Quicksilver is received by the audience and whether or not he has to add anything he wasn't initially planning on to distinguish his Quicksilver from Singer's.

It really does bring up a myriad of issues that Whedon might think are not worth taking on now.
