I doubt she's going to be as powerful or hard to defeat, I mean unless we all want to see a Proxima Midnight movie next year I would assume Cap and BW wipe the floor with her in the end.

Anyone else think she looks like Mila Jobavich is playing her? I almost thought her face looked like Eva Mendes, but I doubt she would voice a villain.

I think the face looks like the mo cap actress for her, Monique Ganderton. I think the voice actress would have been cast long after Proxima's face was designed.

Carol has been Captain Marvel in the comics for a while now, and as much as I love Mar-Vell, Miss Marvel always dwarfed him in popularity. I think giving her the upgrade to just Captain Marvel is best way to approach the character and that franchise.

So this one will obviously have a large amount of humor, as is the habit with this franchise, and Indiana Jones, and Die Hard, and so on and son on....
But this one will take the biggest risks of all the MCU movies so far, it should be a game changer.

It was him dealing with the fact that the last time he Hulked out he expected it to last for just the Ultron battle, then woke up years later on another planet. He doesn’t know if that’s gonna happen again, or if this time it’ll be five or ten or twenty years.

Based on what Feige said about Ragnarok->Infinity War->Avengers 4 being a 3 movie arc for Banner/Hulk that will feel like a solo Hulk movie when combined, I think once Bruce Hulks out again in Infinity War he will remain Hulk for the remainder of the movie and for the entirety of Avengers 4 (unless he changes back near the end).

Thanos even makes a hesitant grimace, as though he didn’t expect that much resistance. I imagine he will break off from cap before cap really gains any real power. But it maybe the tip off on how to defeat him.

Well the power gem is in the gauntlet already. The GOTG touched it and gained that power so it is possible.

Yes she should. She's one of Thanos' children in this movie with hundreds of years of experience. Neither Cap or BW should be "wiping the floor" with her, otherwise, what's the threat? In the comics, Proxima would stomp both of them but I hope in the MCU, they barely win by the skin of their teeth. I mean, her and Glaive have Vision pinned down. If she can do that to him, any of the lower power Avengers shouldn't be a problem for her

I wonder if the stinger for this film might be Captain Marvel arriving back on Earth? She's apparently not in this movie, but IS in Avengers 4. And given that Feige has described her as "the most powerful MCU hero so far," it seems like she might be a prime candidate to help turn the tide against Thanos if/when she shows up finally?

Loving this trailer! Cap and Thanos fight had me like . As a huge Guardians and Rocket fan, I hope the furry little dude doesn't bite it if he is in the Wakandan battle. I may very well go watch the movie in my Rocket cosplay

So all that griping Banner was doing about being mode locked into Hulk if he transformed again in Ragnarok was pretty much just him speculating.

Maybe, but there's also the possibility that he doesn't transform back into Banner willingly on the ship. Thanos or one of the Black Order could possibly be behind that.

I think banner was right, that he might stay locked as hulk, after going 2 straight years as him.. BUT thantos and co might have done something to force a reversion..

Yeah, I think Ebony is going to be only one not at the Wakanda battle. I think they're gonna take him out on the ship on the way to Titan.

I think Black Widow kills Proxima Midnight. There’s a scene in the 1st trailer of her stabbing something and I’m guessing it’s Proxima being stabbed by her own spear

That's wasn't Proxima Midnight it was Corvus Glaive. Also, if you read what I typed in spoilers you would know that[BLACKOUT] it was already confirmed from a pretty spoilery set report that she makes it to the battle of Wakanda with what's likely the rest of The Black Order[/BLACKOUT].
