This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]540995[/split]
Wouldn't this depend on whether Stark is on about that particular moment in time, or the threat of Thanos in general?
We don't know (do we?) whether Stephen saw into the future - everywhere, or only on Titan. In any case, if he answers no, and then the Avengers win (they will eventually) he'll be outed as a damned liar.![]()
I think they can make that work though without a AI. T'Challa has a mask and did just fine conveying info and emotion. Shuri is not his AI and even then Ned could act like Shuri he is the guy in the chair. I think Karen was fine for the first film but should be limited from here on out.
Unless, per my edit; maybe he'll say No because it's Stark asking the question, and either him or Rogers aren't going to be around for Avengers 5, so there is actually a way to win, but it'll mean Stark's sacrifice, which he obviously can't just blurt out!So? That just means they defied impossible odds. If you know you're going to win in the first act of a 2 part movie, then why do I have any reason to fear Thanos? YOU'RE TELLING ME HE LOSES!

I'm intrigued though by our character reactions if Stephen does indeed say No. What does one do with the [apparent] knowledge that whatever they ultimately do will be useless?
T'Challa's make comes and goes as he wishes. When he had extended dialogue in costume, he usually had the mask off while he said what he needed to say.
Yeah that's true, but it doesn't change the fact that the guy who was personally responsible for his family's death is already gone. That's why I don't think it would be that big of a tragedy if Drax died before Thanos.Drax clearly said though that Thanos is the one that needs to really pay for it. Ronan was just a small piece.

Now Nebula, on the other hand, she's the one who absolutely deserves to witness her father' defeat with her own eyes.
I'm curious here, but if it was indeed Ronan that killed Drax' wife and daughter, then how does Thanos play into that? Was this ever explained in either of the Guardian films? I definitely missed it if so.Yeah that's true, but it doesn't change the fact that the guy who was personally responsible for his family's death is already gone. It was explained in the first that Drax recognizes that although Ronan did the killing he was Thanos' puppet.
Ronan was working for Thanos. In other words, Ronan = Puppet, Thanos = Puppeteer.
It was my understanding that the partnership between Thanos and Ronon was a (relatively) new one, so just how recently did Drax lose his family? Furthermore, do we know whether Thanos explicitly told Ronan to kill Drax's people, or whether they were more collateral damage.Thanos maybe made the order since Ronan was under him. They had some kind of partnership for a bit it seemed.

If someone lost a loved one in war, would they blame the soldier that fired the button (or) pressed the button (bomb/nuke), or would they blame the person(s) who first issued the order?
When is the World Premiere for this film?

23rd, I think
