Exactly! Sometimes the trailers might give you the wrong impression of the movie. Like, for example, the 1st trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man: by looking at it, you might think that it's very dark and sad, but in fact, it's not!Agreed; heck even Feige said that the film wouldn't focus on ONE core member and that this will truly feel like an "ensemble" film, though it should be interesting to see on how Disney chooses to market this film.lol
Goddamn do I want a trailer soon. Itchin' here. And I usually wanna see nothing till the actual movie to save all the surprises.

I saw SDCC/Movie Expo footage from the movie and it's def. not, what you think it might be. It has a great sense of humor, romance, it's kinda light-hearted in some way, but not necessarily gritty and lonely.
I would love to tell you if it's true or not, but I've signed an embargo during the Movie Expo, so that's a no. Sorry, man.RIM, have you seen the description for the French trailer?
If so do you know if that one's legit?
It's a brand new trailer with some neat new footage. It was first shown at the Russian Movie Expo.
I don't get all the Amazing Spider-Man hate. It looks like the Spider-Man that always should have been. Instead of focusing mainly on Peter's romance with MJ, it'll focus on Peter finding himself.
So I take it that trailer was just for the Russians and in America and maybe the UK we'll get a different one?
I ask this because you say "neat new footage" as if there was only a little bit of footage added since the last trailer. For the second and final trailers for most if not all movies, they usually are quite different and consist of mainly new footage throughout.
Even if the trailer you saw is the final one, I guess that's a good thing since it won't spoil much before the films release.
I agree RIM. it only makes sense to market Iron Man in the trailers. That doesn't necessarily mean IM will be the focal point in the movie itself. A trailer should get people to go out and see the movie. Using IM as the main attraction seems obvious.
he said brand new trailer...so its a trailer#2...
"neat new footage' is probably sometin that caught his eye...
SFX Magazine #218 (On Sale - January 11, 2012)
Avengers Assemble! Yep, in another packed issue of the world's favorite sci-fi and fantasy magazine, we celebrate the forthcoming Marvel team-up movie with interviews and photos. Plus, an interview with Marvel's Chief Creative Officer himself, Joe Quesada!
It does make sense, but I would liked for the trailers to have "The Big Three" equally being the focal points.
I hope so. Last year, they had quite a lot of new Cap pics inside, before they were released officially.Possibly new photos?![]()
I just hope that way before the film is released, and even before TV Spots start coming out, that we'll have one image released to us, whether it be from a clip or image of a live action shot of the ENTIRE group together in their hero get ups (meaning Banner being Hulk) from a moment where all of them are on the same page.
Seconded.
Coll new avvy, btw.![]()
I'm surprised there hasn't been a group shot yet. That's really sad. The whole point of this movie is to see them together
To this day I still say it was a totally missed opportunity not doing a 'group' shot of RDJ, Evans, Hemsworth, ScarJo, Renner, Ruffalo and Hiddleston from when they did the Central Park shoot. Sure only Thor and Loki were 'in costume' but the rest of the team was in their casual attire ... it still would have made a 1000 times better cover for EW
Well, it's been speculated and believe that the Central Park scene is in fact one of the finale scenes/moments in the film, where Thor takes Loki back to Asgard to be trialed for his crimes against Earth as the rest of the Avengers bids him farewell before all leaving on their own ways. I guess they're waiting to release a photo of all them in gear from a action scene instead.
