Man I am seriously feening for new information, new trailer ..... just something legitimately new to talk about when it comes to this film. I was doing alright just casually checking up on this forum a couple times a week for the last few months, but man I feel like some kind of drug addict at the moment, needing an Avengers fix.

just w8 a couple of days...i know the waiting has bin pretty crazy ever since we got the french description(heck ever since the first ironman)
but once the marketing starts, one would want to turn away from these forums since its gonna be very spoilerish...

On another note, does anyone else think that it would have made more sense and would have been better if instead of having brought in Dr. Selvig into the Avengers, that they should have brought in Betty Ross, since the reason that Fury brought him in was to analyze the cube and yet it's revealed that it emits gamma energy so wouldn't it have been better to first bring in Betty who's supposedly an expert in that field as well?

Plus, it would have helped strengthen the continuity for "TIH" as well.

Betty is a cellular biologist, not a physicist. She has no expertise in dealing with the cube's energy. It made far more sense to bring in an actual physicist to examine the cube and research its properties. They might have used Jane instead of Selvig but for Natalie Portman's pregnancy (and perhaps her higher salary).

Well, for the reason I just stipulated in the post. He only came in and did his own lines but he has no idea what context they all fit into. He said as much about when he did IM 2 as well, although clearly he'd have less lines in this film so he'd probably have less of an idea what's going on.

They bought BANNER in to analyze the cube not Selvig. They brought Selvig in because of his work on the Foster Theory aka connection between dimensions.

Dang that's creepy lol. I'll have to read or watch some stuff with Ultron, he seems interesting. But I still don't think that he would be a suitable villain for Avengers 2, I'd rather go with Kang as Ultron seems like a downplay from Loki, aliens and potentially Thanos. Although I'll remain judgement

How is Ultron a downplay for Loki when he's more powerful, his plans for world domination are more successful, and alot harder for The Avengers to defeat?

Like I said before, Loki is more of a "Thor villain" while Ultron is more of an "Avengers villain".

And one Mr. Rob Liefeld just informed me via twitter that the Avengers will only be ok b/c Marvel didn't break the bank making it. Where as TDKR will be great b/c WB spent $250 million plus making it. Good grief.
