Just an FYI on box office numbers... Both Ironman and Ironman 2 made more in the US verse what it made in the rest of the world. For Thor and Captain America, more than 40% of their earnings is from the US. 40% in one country verse 60% spread between over 100 countries. The US market is, and will be, there main market, and what they focus on the most, no other market is even remotely close.

I hope the Russians Pirate the mother ****ing **** out of that trailer. If Disney / MARVEL thinks giving the trailer to Russia or other non U.S. Countries first will combat piracy in some way. Think again *******s& I hope Batman kicks The Avengers ass Box Office wise due to Disney & MARVEL's mistreatment of the U.S. fan base. Go Batman

Seriously? You want Batman to stomp on the Avengers just because the Russians get the trailer first? A wee bit of an over-reaction there...

And btw, since an awful lot of pirate copies for new release films come from Russia or thereabouts (not that I'd know first hand...) there's no way they are they giving it the Russians first to combat piracy (that's the last place you'd debut anything if that was the goal).

Personally I couldn't care less if Russia has it first. I don't mind waiting a bit longer at all.

I don't take other countries getting things first personally. With the Internets, the point is kinda moot anyway. Besides, the less I know about what's in the film the better.
It'll get advertised everywhere eventually.
Wishing a box office take ill because of entitlement issues, is, well, kinda childish, IMHO.
I wish both Avengers and Bats all the best.
In terms of QUALITY and BOX OFFICE TAKE.
And this is quite possibly the best shot of the new Cap suit.
Can't wait for the HQ version.

You're absolutely correct. But the fact is that more often now >50% of the earnings will come from the rest of the world, and the BO success is heavily dependent on that. In contrast in the past the overseas market was an afterthought.

No single market comes anywhere close to the US but the BO generated from the US for these big budget movies is rarely enough to make these movies profitable.

I don't think that people are justified in hating becasue a film or trailer debuts somewhere other than the US.

(1) Happy Birthday....turning 5 is such a precious time in a child's life.
(2) Trying to start a Marvel/DC war is a no no. Do not do that again.

I'm fine with it not being Skrulls. To be honest, they are a cheesey concept from thr 60's. Green dudes with funny chins and a name that ryhmns with "skulls"? I'm totlly fine with a generic substitute, whether they shape shift or not. What I do think would be cool is Thanos. Perhaps make the alien army of bunch of little Thanos-looking dudes that Loki borrowed from Thanos.
