I can actually hear the theme music from Stark Trek (2009) for the scene when we first see Kirk going to the Enterprise in space.

YES. Trek has such an incredibly score, and I only hope that Silvestri delivers on The Avengers.

So it would appear that Maria Hill doesn't have so much of a favorable view of most of the Avengers; given her comment regarding them in the trailer.

I definitely like the idea of the Avengers and SHIELD having issues with each other as well instead of it just being within the Avengers group itself. SHIELD can't be that perfect.

Don't apologize I understood what you meant.
Problem with TIH is that it takes up such a big chunk of time from the scenes we see in the opening and the climax and ending scenes.
That's why it gets confusing, but overall I think I have a good general idea of how things developed.

See to me, TIH seems last, epseically with the end, with stark and ross

No-one seems to have posted this screencap of another alien shot - this time of them jumping off the Leviathan to infiltrate (or, assault, more rather) another building.

And I have the utmost faith in Silvestri regarding his Avengers score. His work on TFA was great, and Joss commented on Silvestri's work so far in some interviews.

I've been waiting to see this on screen since I first read old Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. COMICS when I was a kid. It totally lives up to expectations.

I wonder what kind of defenses the Helicarrier has once it's airborne. Seems like it would make a big fat target for the attacking aliens.

I remember reading a interview where a extra on set said that there was a scene that they filmed where the civilians on the street of NYC filmed a scene where they all cheer at the arrival of the Avengers on the battlefield to save them or something to that effect.

If that's the case, I can't wait to see that.

Any ideas about the Helicarrier's defensive capability once it's in the air? It's beyond awesome, but it looks like it would be a big fat target. It is however a piece of S.H.I.E.L.D equipment, so I'm expecting all kinds of artillery cannons will pop out from under the deck once it's in combat.

Thor wont know Cap Ironman And The Hulk for much longer than two days either .
Is it any more reasonable to expect the camraderie between these three heroes to form so quickly in the same realtively short period of time that Thor's romance blossomed ?
