I'm not opposed to the design of the new costume, or toning down the titillation factor. The only thing I can't stand about the new look is the art work itself --- dear god, who's the artist? Looks like crappy fashion illustration from a 1969 JC Penney catalog. I'd prefer to see a decent artist show off the new look in a more traditional comic book style.

I was gonna say yeah, the art is the worst part about it. The pic Chewy posted is much better in that regard.

Hey guys,

Just finished my fan trailer. I posted it in the fan made thread, but that seems to be pretty dead. Anyways I wanted to get some feedback to see how can I improve it.

Warning!!!! I added new bits of footage that you probably haven't seen before. (Probably) Its from when they were filming in Cleveland. So if you don't want to spoil some fight scenes look away. (Thor and cap's fight/ cap's alone fight.)

Pretty cool yo...I like it! :yay:

Okay so someone has actually edited the Iron Man, IM2, TIH, Thor and Cap into one film in chronological order.

It will be streaming next Saturday (the 24th) and I imagine someone will put it up for download sometime afterwards.

They better hope Marvel doesn't get anal over this. I remember when the NFL had this guy arrested for Streaming the Superbowl.

I just realized:

The popularity of CBM's and superheroes in general seem to be related to the economy. I mean, wasn't Superman created right around the time of the Depression? And didn't the first Superman movie pop up right around the time the economy was starting to go down?

And haven't we gotten a ton more superhero movies in the past few years?

Just an interesting thought.

Yep. They all ways come around the time when we have a war and bad economy. They usually go around kicking the asses of Corrupt Government officials and War Criminals. We invent superheroes so that they can take care of the problems that currently plague our society.

That was damn cool and so good to see everything gathered in one place. Pieced together like that it's like getting 4 minutes of the movie.

Yeah, the artwork is truly substandard. But so much is now. I've seen art in some comics that is so far below the standards of the past that it's painful to look at. I've seen better work on deviantART, frankly. Hopefully Captain Marvel will eventually be assigned an artist who can deliver a better looking version.

I don't recall seeing these scans from SFX Magazine

1. As some had guessed; it does seem like Tony and Bruce will definitely develop a nice friendship from the events of this film. Cool

2. It's nice to hear that Banner is being more active in the hero part and that he's not looking at himself as some greek tragedy like he did in the past interpretations and that he's directly trying to find a way to use the Hulk as a source for good.

Agree with that. I've seen some truly horrific art on some of the books that my favourite artists once worked on. :csad:

Yes, most excellent! :word:

Thanks for posting those scans. I had read bits and pieces before but its great to see it all together on the pages.

So wait WHICH Captain Marvel's getting a book back?

Marvel's original apparently.

EDIT: Actually, Carol Danvers, Ms. Marvel, is now becoming Captain Marvel and will have her own book.

After watching the 2nd trailer again I'm starting to think that when the Hulk jumps and swats the one ship out of the air he's jumping to catch Tony.

You're right.... good spot....

I'd love to see Pixar do a Marvel movie one day. Something that logistically and financially would be a nightmare to do in live action. Like a cosmic movie. Guardians of the Galaxy, with it's rag-tag team based thing would work well i'd imagine.

This leaves a more positive impression:

From Jamie McKelvie, who designed it

There's elements that remind me of John Totleben's Miraclewoman design. I.e. blue torso, red shoulder area kind of making a v towards the sternum, red boots and gloves, short hair, although it's obviously its own thing as well. That's probably not a bad design to draw inspiration from.
