Lol, you're obviously not familiar with the rules of the Hype. Apparently, you can't be fans of both around here; if you like reading X-men, then you must hate Justice League as much as if Osama Bin Laden wrote it himself. :woot:

Not sure what happens to Image Comics fans around here; I guess they're cloistered into human farms and used for food, like in "The Road."

It is like that in most places but imho I find it useless. There are great storys on BOTH SIDES. Why limit yourself to read only one? (unless its an economic limitation like mine :csad:) I like bot X-men and Justice League. The one Im starting to dislike is Batman... but thats another topic.

My Marvel side loves The Hulk (my fav super hero of all time above anyone else) and related, Silver Surfer and Fantastic 4.

My DC side loves Green Lantern, Aquaman, Flash, Deadman, Firestorm, Green Arrow, Jonah Hex, Superman and Batman.

Image: I only read and watch Walking Dead.
IDW: TMNT

Nobody booed Ruffalo at SDCC loud enough to notice. RDJ introduced him to a lot of cheers.

Fair enough, I was just going off what the other guy said & thought I remembered reading on here back in the summer but if not then cool.

It isn't bad. It's awful.

This is by far the most epic Avengers tv spot I've seen so far.

I think that's fan-made.
Still, the music, which is from the previous trailer, is that Alan Silvestri? Can we assume that?

Haven't read any Ultimates... can you explain me why is it bad? and also who is the writer? Mark Millar?

It's Jeph Loeb.... Which explains why everyone is written so out of character.
The story is really a mess.

The only saving grace is Joe Madureira's art, imo.

Not sure if this will work but this was the moment (about the 3.15 mark)

Millar wrote 1 & 2. Jeph Loeb wrote 3 and beyond.

God... I hate Loeb for Red Hulk. The only thing good about his run on Rulk was the art (it wasn't good, it was AWESOME by Ed McGuiness... I think). The art alone was worth the price.

I did see this tho....

What does this button do.....lol
Haha, I love product placement spots that don't really make any sense

The new Ultimates series by Hickman has been great though. Read vol. 1 & 2 and skip to the new stuff.

I'll give it a shot. I think I'll buy the trade paperbacks of 1 and 2 just for the hype of the movie and wait for the TP of Hickman's run :woot:

Fixed! Thanks Chewy!

I saw that ad a little while ago during a Young and the Restless replay on Soapnet. :cwink: That proves that Disney/Marvel is going for a broader audience for The Avengers. Maybe they should sir some ads featuring the movie's hunks during the soaps to get the female audience even more interested. :word:

(Disney owns Soapnet, which may have something to do with the ad placement.)

Thanks Chewy, I sent you a PM right after you posted this showing how to do it since I used to have trouble with it myself.

Where's my "thanks"? :waa:

I agree, wholeheartedly! :woot:

Didn't know Disney owned Soapnet tho. Learn something new everyday. :yay:

Well now I'm concerned, I didn't get your PM. :csad: I logged off and back on and still don't see it. I'm so sorry. I thank you anyway! Please forgive me, if I'd saw it I would have totally thanked you just as I do everyone who helps me out. I'm so sorry.

Would you mind sending me another PM just to see if it'll work please.

Ultimates 1 and 2 by Millar are good. Stay the hell away from Loeb's work though. Appalling.

I remember when my brother & I would wait more than a month for one issue of Ultimates #1 to come out because they're usually delayed, and the issue often felt too short, but it was well worth it. Ultimates #2 wasn't as good, but the art by Bryan Hitch was spectacular, as always.

Never bothered with #3, though.

i loved the tracking shot of Ironman flying..even though its only a few seconds...
i personally wanted shots like these in IM2 and i was dissapointed, hopefully avengers does it right...

Hopefully Thor gets some tracking shots as well. It seemed like he left the camera behind every time he flew in his movie.
