This time next week I'll have seen it at least twice. Three times if my niece has her way, but then she's not paying $50 for a pair of tickets each time we see it! Stupid Aussie ticket prices. :cmad:

$50?! Madness! Lucky for me, a cinema ticket only costs $4 here. A minimum of 3 avengers viewing at the cinema for me.:woot:

$27 each its costing me for Vmax in Perth, Australia. It's f***in outrageous!

And the Aussie dollar is worth more these days! :(

It costs $9.50 here, that's not that bad huh?

I'm going to be watching it on opening day non-Imax in the morning for $6.00. :)

IMAX here costs $10 and that's with popcorn and drinks.

Where do you live. Time to back my bags and movie!!! With popcorn and drink it can run me up to $20-$24. popcorn and drinks cost $6 at the least and up if you go for a lager size.

At my local cinema it's around $15 for a ticket and like $7 for drinks and popcorn...and on the odd occasion a mars bar. :D

I usually just eat before so I avoid buying anything at the concession stand. Plus I don't drink soda and I hate popcorn so its not a problem for me to just skip on it.

Go to a nearby restaurant or eat at home and fill yourself up and then watch the movie. That's how I've been doing it for years now.

Man when I was a kid ticket prices where $2.50. And popcorn and drinks cost $3.00.

Same here. I try to cut out as much liquid as possible so I don't need a bathroom break.

I bring in a chocolate bar from home or I'll go to a local bakery and buy a meat pie to eat just before going in. It's part of the treat of going to the cinema.

For The Avengers, I'll have to do something extra special, maybe buy a fresh cream doughnut to have after the meat pie.

A tub of popcorn is like, £6, nearly as much as the friggin tickets. I never buy food or drink from the cinema.

There's this great Italian/Pizza place just around the corner from my local cinema. Makes for quite a night out

lol whenever I don't have any popcorn I keep reaching into my lap as if i have some. I'm just so used to eating popcorn at the movies.

Just a couple of medium sodas for me and my gf and a bag of cheetos. But most of the time we already ate half of it during the trailers which is fine.

lol; Personally I never tend to get food or beverages whenever I'm watching a good film because I don't want to have the need to use the restroom in the middle of the film when I paid good money to see it to begin with.lol

We're doing Avengers at 10am ( with popcorn) then Avengers again in the afternoon ( with a tub of peanut butter M&Ms ).

Anyone else heading to the UK premiere in costume tomorrow afternoon to get tickets?

On opening day I plan to see The Avengers in the mid to late afternoon, then again that evening. I never eat or drink in the theater, but there is a nice outdoor mall attached to it that has about a dozen restaurants. I can have lunch for what I'd pay for a soda and popcorn.

Okay, sorry to interrupt the current conversation, but I'm finally getting Thor and The Incredible Hulk on blu-ray to complete my Marvel movie collection. Can some kind soul please remind me which order to watch all the movies in? I'm doing my own marathon leading up to TA on the 4th.

Gracias!
