post credit scenes are nothing new. People were doing it way before Marvel Studios. Blaming Edgar Wright is pretty misguided.
It's good that they made it a mid-credits scene instead of an after-credits scene. Never understood why they made us sit through the long ass credits for those scenes.
That skit was too funny, I expected Black Panther to come when Tony said they needed a new Black guy on the team.![]()
It gives the audience incentive to stay for the credits. I've heard its suppossed to be disrespectful to not sit through the credits in some countries. It makes sense. All these people worked hard to make this film least we could do is sit through the credits and give them their due. If there isn't **** music over the credits I don't mind.
Sometimes it is a choir though. Had no trouble with Thor however, loved the music.
Usually, if we really enjoyed a movie, this is the exact reason we'll stay through all the credits (regardless of whether there's 'something' at the end or not). It's our way of showing appreciation to everyone that worked on the film - they put in who knows how many hours/days/weeks/etc, I figure I can give 5 min. to see their name scroll across the screen. It gives the audience incentive to stay for the credits. I prefer credits that use the score. I generally hate when they include rock, rap, pop etc. over the credits of a film that has none of that music in it.
Was Thor strength level => Hulk's?

If that makes sense. That's just my personal opinion though - so even IF there isn't another additional scene at the end when it's released in the U.S., I'll probably be staying through to the end of the creidts anyways.
we'll do that tooMY family and I like to play find the strangest name game.t:

Half the songs are **** they choose for credits so I'd rather they stick with the score. I always liked that john Williams would compose a piece for the credits or do a mix for them.
we'll do that tooor see how many people have the same name as someone we know

I am with ya. That is my one problem with Memento. It is one of my favorite films and I love Bowie, but it really puts me off.

It's just tedious to make them wait out the entire credits. Not to mention those sequences are a crucial part to the inter-connective tissue of the films.
I'll tell you one thing, working at a movie theater nothing pisses me off more than people waiting for the ENTIRE credits to finish before we can start cleaning.![]()

people try to bust ass out the door and treat the parking lot like it's a drag strip. Stay for the credits and you can
1) show a bit of respect for the people who made the movie
2) discuss the film a bit with your friends
3) stretch and collect your jacket/personal belongings
4) annoy the high school dweebs who want you gone so they can half ass their sweep job
5) let the restrooms clear out a bit
6) exit at a leisurely pace
not to mention catch a stinger every now and then. marvel isn't the only films that have them. I wait until the end every time.

Are you serious?
Yes, it must be so hard to stand there, and do nothing while getting paid.Get over it. We pay to see the whole film, and not at your convenience.
Hmm, that's some good reasons. I'm gonna see if I can get my ADHD friends to see the light.
Very.
It's annoying when you have a full theater, with people waiting in line for the next showing in that theater, the theater is completely TRASHED, and with other theaters getting out. But I wouldn't expect you to get it.
