So it is better than first class? Does it have emotional moments like that film had?

They definitely feel a bit more like "this is how you waste a superhero ensemble" after seeing this movie than they did before. Even First Class, which I loved.

Although I like X1 and X2, I think Singer clearly could have done much better for an ensemble movie like this. FC was a bit better, but I have a feeling that Whedon will show us exactly how to do a movie with a large cast like this.

Yes, imo. Like that film, the heart of this one is in the relationships. But in this film, there are more OF those relationships that resonate. Tony/Banner is a great one, Widow/Hawkeye, Tony/Steve, Thor/Loki...all those relationships have some real meat to them, and it's such a joy to watch them all play out.

Glad to hear that it is a great film. Glad I have my ticket already purchased.

Also, loved when

Loki tried to control Tony and "dinked" the arc reactor.

I'm an X-Men fan, but quite frankly, only Wolverine got any care in those movies. I'm especially angry about the treatment of Cyclops, and he came out particularly inept compared to Wolverine. That's not how it is supposed to be.

Is there every a scene where Thor gets hit with alot of heavy artillery from the aliens?

All I want is a "yes" or "no", thanks alot guys.

^ I'd still like to know the answer to this question.

Does anyone know what happened in Budapest with Black Widow and Hawkeye?

Curiously enough, Whedon wrote a script for the first X-Men movie; they trew it away. Just two lines of Whedons survived in the movie. Well, three, but for a while Joss was *****ing about the bad delivery of that third line.

not sure if this was mentioned, but could/is it true?!!?!?!?!??!?!

end scene -> thanos with green stone -> tells his servant that loki didn't fail -> (it was a success b/c he has souls of all the dead chitauri?)

It is not true.

Oops, haha I accidentally quoted the wrong person in that post you responded to. I was actually talking about First Class there, which is my personal favorite X-men movie. But yes I agree with you, X1/X2 really only did one or two characters justice, and this movie is leagues ahead of those.

I was about to say Whedon would surely do a much better job with Cyclops than those movies did, and then I realized he already did...in the comics, lol.

Quick question is the Head count scene between Stark and Loki one of the best scenes in the movie? I've had this gut reaction that it would be one of the best moments of the film.
