Question:

When the Hulk randomly punches Thor after they've both defeated the large dragon, does it send Thor flying across the street? Or is it one of those jabs that isn't meant to hurt the person? Was Thor even hurt by Hulk's punch?

Was there any moment int he film where even the Hulk looked exhausted and felt as though he was pushed to his limit? Or was it all tooo easy for him?
#1: [blackout]It was more of a sucker punch between friends/rivals than anything else, and Thor just goes flying out of frame. We're left to assume he wasn't actually hurt.[/blackout]

#2: [blackout]Yes, Hulk does start to look exhausted and is bleeding a little toward the end of the final battle, though we're never led to believe he might not survive, or anything like that.[/blackout]

Oh so Thor is the one to fly off camera from the punch?

Does the film ever show that the punch actually affected Thor in a negative way or was that just meant to be nothing more than the whole "beer drinking buddy" thing that someone described those two to be like.

It's all played for laughs. No negative effect on him whatsoever.

Doesn't affect him.

1. It wasn't an all out punch. More like a payback punch for the earlier fight. He flew off the screen, but not in a overly dramatic way. It was funny.

2. Yes, when he gets surrounded by a bunch of aliens all shooting at him at once. A pic of that scene was released this week.

If Hulk "never breaks a sweat", as someone just stated, how does the picture tie in that recently came out that showed Hulk in a pile of rubble with his nose bleeding?

A huge swarm of Chitauri aliens fire at him.

Thor arguing with SHIELD on how to deal with Loki:

Thor: "He is still of Asgard, and he is still my brother!"
Maria Hill: "He's killed 80 people in 2 days!"
(Thor takes this in...)
Thor: "He is also adopted."

Haaaaa! That's brilliant. :woot:

He does break a sweat.

Apparently, there's two versions of the movie being shown.

In one, Coulson is killed by Loki during the Helicarrier breakout, leading to the scene where Captain America comforts Iron Man about losing a soldier.

In another, Coulson is only knocked aside by Loki's energy blast and survives, later having a small scene with Hill before the final battle.

I don't know it that's true, though.

I got the stab scene.

What a pity that the scene with [BLACKOUT]Stan Lee [/BLACKOUT]has been switched off. 3 seconds on the screen, while a real scene with [BLACKOUT]Steve Rogers[/BLACKOUT] was shot (=> Shooting photos). :csad:

A question..
Does Hulk smile or gives some hint that he's about to do something before punching Thor? And after it does Hulk grin/laugh or something or after Thor goes off-screen it cuts to another scene??

There's only one version of the movie being shown.

Jesus...

And some of these questions are getting sorta dumb.

No.

No hint

Didn't you ever play "slug bug" as a kid?
Hulk has a sarcastic face after Thor is removed from frame then it cuts to next scene

It was not really big, though. It was basically a waitress flirting with Steve (Is that still in?) and Stan yelling from another table for Steve to get her phone number.

Basically, [blackout]Thor first gives him an approving nod that essentially says, "we make a good team." Hulk punching him is a reaction to that, so his face is kind of a scowl, like, "don't get too chummy with me."[/blackout]

This is the first superhero movie I've ever watched that felt like a comic book come to life. And not in a forced "stylized" way like Sin City or something, but it all felt natural, yet straight out of a comic.

All-in-all, this was a damn near perfect dream for a superhero fan.

Music to my ears right there!

Is there every a scene where Thor gets hit with alot of heavy artillery from the aliens?

All I want is a "yes" or "no", thanks alot guys.

.....All this talk about how everyone gets a good moment leads me to believe that I won't be able to watch the old X Men movies after watching this.
They definitely feel a bit more like "this is how you waste a superhero ensemble" after seeing this movie than they did before. Even First Class, which I loved.
