Morningstar please make sure you always blackout or put spoiler tags when you write that name. Some people expect to not be spoiled so much even though they know this is a spoiler thread.

Yea sorry i keep forgetting, i'll edit it.

Thanks for all the info guys. Really appreciate it. Can't ****ing wait! AHHH!

Ah what does he say?

It's when Thor first appears and ends up clashing with Cap and Iron Man. Iron Man chases after him after Thor flys out of a quinjet. Cap puts on a parachute and prepares to jump out after them. Widow yells at him that he can't stop Thor because he's a god. Cap replies, "There's only one god I know, ma'am and he doesn't dress like that."

:woot:

I have only one question for those who've seen the film:

Do Banner's eyes turn green right before he Hulks out? That was my favorite thing about the TV show and I was glad they incorporated it into The Incredible Hulk.

Thanks guys :woot:

Man...[BLACKOUT]I love that BW adresses Thor as a god!:woot:[/BLACKOUT]

I'm sorry but, all of these spoiler tags and black outs are getting annoying. The title of this thread is one giant spoiler tag! If you don't want spoilers, stay out of this thread. It's like searching for your Christmas presents and then getting upset with mom and dad for not hiding them better.

Agreed. I'm only using them because I've seen people complaining...

I believe her actual quote is more along the lines of [blackout]"I'd sit this one out, Cap. These guys are of legend - they're practically gods!"[/blackout] So she almost flat-out calls him [blackout]a god[/blackout].

It's good enough.:yay:

Been reading through this thread and wanted to comment on a few things. If you are still trying to stay unspoiled, then don't read this:

IMO I didn't think the space scenes were corny at all, I thought they gave an appropriate sense of the impending menace that was going to come to earth during the film.

Also, the opening scene of the movie IS a space scene so the audience knows to expand their scope of the film from street fights to space opera right from the get-go.

As far as I can remember, there are 5 space scenes in total:

1) Opening scene that introduces the Tesseract, a malevolent alien organizer, and an alien army.

2) A scene that occurs after Loki steals the cosmic cube and gathers a group of mind-controlled shield agents/scientists to build a device with which to summon the alien army. Loki has a moment of reflection where he flashes back to a scene in space. The Chitauri general informs him of the deal with Thanos and the consequences should he fail to deliver the Tesseract. This scene seems to take place in between Thor and the start of Avengers.

3) A brief scene when the portal is finally opened, showing the alien army descending through the portal.

4) The Iron-Man-in-space scene which I won't spoil.

5) Mid-credit scene with Thanos that has been spoiled in detail already.

From scenes 2 and 5, we get a greater sense of the mess Loki has gotten himself into. I can't wait to see this plot point expanded upon in further MCU films.

I also have nothing but good things to say about the 3D, contrary to what some are saying. I'm just like most people and see post-production 3D as a shoddy money grab in most cases, but I thought it worked really well here. It may be because I saw it in IMAX 3D and the giant screen was not dimmed AT ALL for our screening. I saw the dark space scenes very clearly; I could tell exactly what was going on. Maybe that's why I liked them ;)

hi guys,
This is my first post. I have a few questions regarding the Mark 7. Like what is its capabilities, weapon systems and can it fly in space

It's a flying component-based suit
Same weapons you have seen before
No, it was not made to withstand long exposure to space

This scene actually made me a believer of ScaJo could act. I just expected her to be eye-candy. She proved me wrong!!

Yeah sure. flickchick85 gave a pretty groovy summary:

Basically she comes to Loki in the cell to bargain for Barton's life. Or so it seems. He tells her he expected her to show up as the "friendly method of persuasion" after Fury and Co. tortured him a bit, not so soon. He inquires about her interest in Barton, asking if it's love. She says, "love is for children. I owe him a debt." Then she tells him her backstory with Barton from back when she was an assassin. She says she's got some "red on her ledger" that she's trying trying to make right. During her whole story, Loki acts sympathetic and then totally flips, listing all her past victims he shouldn't know about (but learned of from Barton) then telling (more like yelling at) her exactly the horrible death he has in store for her ad Barton. She breaks down and calls him a monster and turns away. Then he says something about the Hulk being the monster they were foolish enough to bring on board, and then she turns around...she was faking the breakdown. She says, "so Banner's the reason your here? Good to know. Thanks." Or something to that effect, then leaves.

Not sure if this has been asked/discussed, but do [BLACKOUT] the Chitauri/Thanos' envoy speak English? Or do they speak an alien language that is translated? [/BLACKOUT]

They speak english. It was one of the few WTF moments for me since they made sure to have Widow speak Russian. Oh well, just one of those "suspension of disbelief" things, I guess. A minor thing, for sure.

Seems like English with an accent
Thanos never speaks though

A little bothersome, but indeed minor. It's always been irksome for me that aliens in some films just know how to speak English out of the blue. I can suspend my disbelief with Thor and etc, but I can't pretend it's not a little silly with this. Not a movie ruiner though. :oldrazz::cwink:

English is the universal common language that was spread to Earth when the Asgardians visited the Vikings. :whatever:
