I don't remember if I told this in here, but.....met Lea Thompson at a convention a couple of years ago, when I got some stuff signed I asked for her to personalize it to me - Calvin - she asked if that was really my name, and I told her yeah....she squeeled and jumped up and hugged me.....she said I was the first real "Calvin" she had signed to in years.

She's a lovely person :)

So are we going to act like this film doesn't show a white guy teaching Chuck Berry a new sound? :oldrazz: :cwink:

Believe it or not, apparently people DID make a stink about that back in the day...until Chuck Berry came out and said he thought it was funny.

He was cool with it so everyone shut up.

Shut it, boy. :oldrazz:

He also has a hand at making that one guy mayor. But i'm cool with unintentional racism.

Since Goldie Wilson was already mayor in pre-time-travel 1985 Hill Valley, I don't think Marty gave him any ideas that weren't already there (or going to be there).

Did anyone hear about Bob gale writing a BTTF comic series? I can totally dig this.

I am for any medium involving this franchise as long as one (or both) of the Bob's are involved.

And speaking of alternate timelines, will the comics explore an alternate 2015 (which is basically now).

Whoa so the C. stands for Calvin? I always thought you were just a huge Christopher Lee fan or something

I love how the Bob's are open to continuing the Doc and Marty stories without another movie.

and that is just what fits on that small shelf I have the following:
wearable Marty Jr hat from part II
Part I poster
soundtracks to all 3 films as well as the 2 disc complete score of part I (a must buy!)
novelizations of all 3 films
Trilogy on VHS (with 4th tape featuring the secrets of the BTTF trilogy)
Trilogy on blu ray
BTTF The Video game for PS3
1/24 scale die cast models of the part I and III cars (I had the part II one but gave to a friend) all have opening gull wing doors
5 model kits of the Delorean, the AMT/Ertl Trilogy set (can build models of Part I, II, and III cars (with train wheels and train track base), which you could only get from the BTTF VHS trilogy). a part III car with the 50's wheels and a Marty wearing his 'Clint Eastwood' clothes and is in the movie poster art pose, and the Polar Lights snap kit with 'stainless steel' plated body shell.
all the comics based in the 90s BTTF cartoon
complete set of Part II movie trading cards with stickers and the backs of the stickers when combined makes a scale version of the part II poster
and a Guide to the Trilogy that came out in 1990 and was sold at Universal Stuidos in the BTTF gift shop next to the BTTF the ride.

*whew*
