The 'Back To The Future' Appreciation Thread

I read on line that Christopher Lloyd wanted do do a fourth one would be about Marty mcfly going back in time to the medial ages save doc brown. it was couple years back.

I would rank them as 1 > 3 > 2. I prefer the more personal stories of 1 and 3 over all the timeline jumping of Part 2. I do very much enjoy all three though.

If I was doing Part 4, I would do it similar to The Game. Specifically the portions where Marty goes back to 1931 and has to team up with Doc as a teenager and we find out how he ended up devoting his life to science. Doc's past (pre-1955) is the one big thing in the Trilogy that is never touched upon.

I honestly don't know how to rank them. For me, they are all at the same level, each of the movies have enough merits to be, in my eyes, perfect.

I think the first is best but it's very closely followed by 2 and 3. I wouldn't mind a fourth one although it would have to be very, very careful not to step on the previous three's toes.

I rank them as they were released:
1-Back to the Future
2-Back to the Future II
3-Back to the Future III
I'm not a huge fan of the third film for obvious reasons, it's just not as good.

I can barely remember there was a cartoon series.

There was a comic book based off of the animated series too.

Just watched these again. I love them so much!

BTTF-9/10
BTTF2-10/10
BTTF3-9.5/10

What did you guys think of the cartoon series?

The only thing I remember from it were the science experiments at the end with a voiceover from Christopher Lloyd and were demonstrated by Bill Nye the Science Guy.

I don't get why people aren't keen on 3. I loved Part 3 so much. Prob right up there for me with part 1.

The first Back to the Future is the best. And I don't remember the animated series, but I do remember the Teen Wolf cartoon!

I love part 2. While it lacks the heart of the first one, it was the first movie that i saw as a kid that really got into time travel and it's huge consequences with the tangent timeline.

My Christmas present from my sister: :woot:

I didn't get any BTTF or batman presents this year. :argh:

A few years ago I did get a Delorean BTTF model for Christmas then one of my old roomates ended up moving and took it with him :(

before I got the time machine from Lego I got the Delorean hallmark ornament it freaking rules if you do not have one, get one but prepare for the ebay scalpers :argh:

My dad and I just watch the first episode of The Twilight Zone on Netflix called "Where is Everybody" it was shot on the Universal Hill Valley set circa 1959.

20 THINGS YOU (PROBABLY) DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT BACK TO THE FUTURE III

If the Back To The Future trilogy is to be taken as historically accurate, which of course only a truly insane person would do, we are at most 20 months away from the invention of the hoverboard.

Exciting stuff, but small fish compared to Doc Brown's eventual invention of a flying, time-travelling train that "runs on steam", as seen in Back To The Future Part III.

Whichever of the two you'd prefer to get your mitts on, you're in for a bit of a wait. So why not browse our 20 things you (probably) didn't know about the third instalment to kill all of, oooh, 10 minutes...

Those are some pretty interesting facts. I never noticed the jet trail.
