Which means we'd probably get our first looks at Ben Affleck as Batman and Grant Gustin as Flash around the same time.

With the particle accelerator accident, I'm guessing they'll go with New 52 superpowered Rogues instead of the classic gimmick weapon Rogues.

The gimmick weapon Rogues might also work out in the context of the Arrow/CW universe if they justify it as technology smuggled in from the future.

I don't really see what they could do with him.Presumably he'll be pre-Flash till the pilot.I guess they could tease us about his learning his powers.But I think at this point we should just wait.Have the pilot start with the lab accident and just take it from there.

To be honest, I had been hoping to see him again in the original concept for Episode 20, where it would serve as a backdoor to his own pilot.lol

Especially since seeing Oliver and company's reaction to Barry's new powers, along with Oliver having some backup against the growing threat would have been awesome to see.

I imagine there will be a team-up/crossover eventually.The wait will be brutal,that's for sure.

that would just go against the whole backdoor pilot thing. I kinda thought they would film the flash pilot now instead of in march. then it would make sense for Barry to come back.

On last night's episode, when Barry mentioned using a compressible micro fabric for his mask, it was a nod/hint at this:
