If they can do Captain America without a covered nose, I don't see why the same can't be done for The Flash.

I can agree with this, but they DID mess it up pretty damn horribly for The Avengers. Something like Caps cowl in TFA would be awesome for Flash

The Avengers Cap suit looked good at certain angles, and not so good at others. But the overall look that they were going for would be preferable to doing something like TFA for the Flash. They just need the final product to be better.

This makes me feel really uncomfortable for some reason. I'm hoping the suit looks more like the 90s tv show suit and the suit in the Flash video game that wasn't made

I'd be more than happy with the 90's suit.

only slimmed down - presumably now with the availability of modern materials there'd be no need for the cooling system which made that suit so bulky.

yeah, take away the yellow lines and it would be great. Pretty damned faithfull too.

I really dislike that suit. I can't stand the cowl, the yellow lines, the emblem, or the yellow on his waist

I must be one of the few that really likes it the way it is.

The only thing I don't like is the yellow band above his nose.

Plus add in some goggles and armour...

not the only one. i like that the yellow lines break up a lot of the red. i think that might a problem that some people have with the mos suit...

it looks less dull.

The Avengers suit made him look ALOT slimmer and less muscular. I prefer how bulky the FA suit looked.

Happy he goes back to it in the Winter Soldier

Do you even like the comics version of the costume? I mean...

Which, when you think about it, applies to The Flash. Certainly not bulky...

Which is why I dislike the 90's TV Show suit. Flash doesn't and SHOULDN'T be massively bulky

Yep. I really like Francis Manapul's rendition of the suit.

I just hate that design of it posted earlier. It has the traditional cowl, sure, but it's done in such a way that makes it really ugly in my opinion. even though the same basic design as the comics cowl is in play, i still hate it. Just like the Avengers Cap cowl. All the basic elements as the comics cowl were there, but it was just ugly.

Iris West audition tape. References to Atom Smasher and apparently The Trickster is in, as a serial murderer.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Iris. OMG! Even if this actress isn't cast, if whoever does it better than this, I will be so in love. Goodnight. Geez.

I think the most interesting thing about the audition tape is the fact that Barry will most likely be investigating The Trickster in the pilot. That sounds awesome. The original Flash tv series had a couple episodes about the Trickster (played by Mark Hamill) and they were some of the best episodes of the series. Honestly, the original Flash show was pretty damn awesome .

Check out the Trickster episode

I haven't changed my mind about a thing.

:lmao:

Smug.

Ultimate Spider-Man doesn't have web shooters, so this is moot...

This is your response to me, in a nutshell. I bring you logic and examples, you bring me stubbornness, emoticons, namecalling, and falsehoods. You can't see how outdated and flawed the "white" and "black" labels are because you're holding them so tightly. SMH. Too bad, you could have had a relevant informed opinion.

Honestly I agree with everything he is saying and disagree with most everything you're saying. But in the end, you both have logical arguments, I just tend to agree more with his views than yours.

Actually those are my responses taken out of context to other posters. My response to you was my response to you.

I bring you logic and examples,

Still waiting on those pictures of Wally West with a black nose where he's drawn as an Indian.

you bring me stubbornness, emoticons, namecalling

I never called you any names, I just described your behavior.

Facts are stubborn things.

and falsehoods.

Everything I said was backed by facts and based in reality.

You can't see how outdated and flawed the "white" and "black" labels are because you're holding them so tightly. SMH.

That black is not the same color as white is so "outdated" that they have specified that Iris West be black SPECIFICALLY in the new show and are only auditioning BLACK actresses. If there were no difference, to even the producers at least, then there would be no specification. They don't even care about the best for the part here, they just want black, period.

Too bad, you could have had a relevant informed opinion.

I have 70 plus years of source material to back up my informed and relevant opinion.

I will always champion the characters being as they're supposed to be...enjoy your "progressive" distortions of unrecognizable characters.

Thank you Rorschach.
