i dont see why that would be so out of the question.

i mean why wouldnt he want to collect stuff from his past cases and keep them in his cave. as long as theyre not taken into police evidence i know i would, ESPECIALLY a giant penny, haha.

I dont think we'll see a lot of major improvements in the film. I wasnt too big a fan of the whole taking the elevator down to the cave. I want the hidden staircase behind the grandfather clock. That would be awesome.

And at the end of the movie, he should have a giant joker card there.

it should be similar to the begins cave, but have a weapon wall and a small gym and computers to make it not look like an underground railroad anymore, and he needs a place to put his new batmobile, nolan will make it realistic but cool also.

Well, THE DARK KNIGHT is obviously following from BEGINS, and should keep the practical, minimalistic approach. Perhaps some metal walkways, a bit more tech (perhaps during the course of the film, they'll install a computer system wired into police databases or something like that).

I definitely want to see more tech in the cave, cpu monitors, etc. I like it best when the cave appears as a mix between a cave and a headquarters.

Weight sets, etc. are fairly redundant, but I'd think he'd want to hide combat training equipment. Punching bags, fighting dummies, maybe some marksmanship range for batarangs and what not.

No kidding. Not to mention that guano is highly toxic and breathing it in for extended periods of time can cause serious lung problems.
