Posted this suggestion in the JL thread but I figured it's worth throwing it up here too. If we're going older and considering guys like Hamm and Donovan, well... I think Norton could make an epic Bruce Wayne.

I dunno...all I see there is Victor Zsasz...

And yet he'll continue to be fancast as every male (and some female) character. :o
Sad and true. :csad:
Do you think him playing young Hercules put him off? lol
Would not surprise me in the slightest. To be fair, doing shows like that back then weren't as together as most superhero movies/shows of today(which still have issues of their own), but he just may not want to deal with it anymore.

Yeah, I agree.

He seems perfect for The Question. I could also see him as Ollie.

Nah. Not the Question.

No he's a driven, obsessed Dark Detective. Bulk him up a bit and he's got a Neal Adams physique easily. Plus he's got the chops for doing Bruce's undercover characters. And he's got the driven, obsessed thing down complete with the pissed off voice.

The poor actor that gets recast as The Joker. It's gonna be hard to follow Ledger. By the way am I the only one that thinks Fassbender could pull off Batman AND The Joker?

You know what would be awesome?

Werner Herzog as Freeze.

Nah. Patrick Stewart is awesome too but he would also be a grandpa Freeze. Freeze should be middle-aged...40's or 50's.

I'm glad SOMEONE else thinks James Franco could do Joker. :woot: He has the look in my opinion, and I think he could give an interesting touch. Idk, maybe I'm wrong.

I haven't heard anyone say Cooper for Riddler though. And Lang would be GREAT if they wanna put a Arkham City vibe in the reboot.

... About Garrett Hedlund though, I think he isn't the best choice for Batman. I would definitely be open to him being Nightwing or maybe like... Flash. But thats a different topic. :oldrazz: But Nightwing is what I think fits him. I don't know if I could see him with black hair though, like Grayson. :/

Freeze cant be too old. It's not the Vulture. Hugo Strange can get away with being older too but not Freeze. He's a middle-aged man.

The oldest they should go is an actor in his 60s if he looks young for his age.

Dont like Franco for a villain role.

Lang is good for an older Gordon yes. Grandpa Gordon!

Dicaprio and Elba would be wasting their talent on such C-List characters like Killer Croc and Clayface. Elba as Lucius Fox is more fitting. And Dicaprio? Even though i wouldnt use him in these kind of movies, he would be a solid Black Mask. (and yes i think Sionis is a better villain than Croc or Clayface)

Giovanni Ribisi would play Ventriloquist or Mad Hatter pretty well.

And it's pretty interesting how a lot of people suggest Craig for Freeze. I love the guy, but i just dont see it. Maybe im missing something. I dunno..by the time the villain is back on the screen maybe Craig will suit it more? That could be interesting actually.

I thought WB was pushing hard for The Riddler in The Dark Knight Rises. I would imagine Dicaprio would have been on a list of actors for that role.

yeaaaaaah but im not too into that idea. I think it's one of those lazy "JOhnny Depp for Riddler!" kind of responses that we got 4 years ago.

He's more suitable for it than Depp (to me) but there's a ton of talent that seem to be born to play Nygma. Or they can bring something more unique to the table than Leo.

Anson Mount Batman vs. Walton Goggins Joker.

If they want a younger Joker, then they should go with Franco. If they want an older actor then Goggins is the way to go.

I really want to see Fassbender V.S. Franco.

Honestly, if I were casting Mr Freeze today, I'd say John Noble. He can do cold very well, ahem, while also being charismatic.

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I like Daniel Craig for Mr. Freeze. Kudos to whoever suggested him.

I dont want a reboot any time soon, but I'll pull one out and lay it on the table...

James Woods as Gordon

I think Fassbender could pull anyone off.

Eddie Brock, I love when you post because you have one of the best avatars of all time
