I adore Ackles like no other, hot, charming, solid actor but I just don't see WB allowing him to be cast. I think WB is done with CW casting in their Superhero movies. And if they did another CW casting I don't think that it would be for Batman.

Can anyone link to Urban doing anything other than "tough guy"? His credentials as a fearsome Batman are undisputed, but I'm not sure about his range.

Exactly. Bones is as far away from Batman as possible, and Urban pulls it off wonderfully.

Yes, EssayM got there a page back. I saw the first Star Trek but don't really remember Urban in it. No interest in seeing the sequel. What did Urbanbring to his part, in your opinion?

He was pretty much the comic relief, and he did it really well. Very different from his other roles. It proves he can do more than be badass.

The problem I have with Karl Urban is that I feel like he'll just be Dredd in a different costume. I still want Jon Hamm for the role ideally, he's only older than Keaton was in 89 by a couple of years but he's aged far better. I wouldn't have a problem with someone like Luke Evans or Matt Bomer getting the role, as frequently suggested though. No to Fassbender.

Fassbender is Assassin and Assassin's Creed is future big franshise. I dont want to see him as The Batman for same reason. He should stick with X-Men's and his new franshise.

it depends though. often times when someone is out of shape they're face can get softer and rounder, fatter for lack of a better word, less heroic looking and that might say someone casting one way or another.

That's true but then they're whipped into shape for the role. One of the best examples from just very recently:

Chris Pratt getting into shape for Guardians of the Galaxy.

Like I said last time, Nikolaj would be great if his American accent wasn't complete garbage. He was terrible in Mama.

Visually he is an excellent choice but I agree that accent is an issue for me. I thought he was fine in Mama acting wise. BTW.

If he can keep it sounded decent I wouldn't be against him playing Bats.

Have you seen the movie? It may sound fine in snippets, but when seeing it play out in its entirety, it's horrible.

I'm gonna throw in another name. Jason O'Mara. He looks the part, but I'm basing this mostly off his awesome Batman voice in the upcoming JL: War animated movie.

Agreed. That's why, as much as I love Supernatural, I want him to start making some more movies. Good ones.
