The Batman Spoiler Discussion Thread

Andy, what did you think of the voice/laugh?
I kinda wish his voice was a bit higher in pitch, but I have no real gripes with it.

The laugh is interesting. Not as hyena-like as I'd anticipated but I definitely hear the comparison. It's almost childlike; it definitely sounds like a younger Joker which is a very welcome change of pace.

Bale and Ledger never really FELT young even if they technically were. Pattinson seems to feel quite young and from the little I've heard of this Joker, he feels a bit younger too. Can't wait to see more of his face and if it's as gnarly as some people make it sound.

Has the joker clip leaked online? I'm watching the movie later today but I cant contain my excitement.

And I flat out said Riddler didn't know Bruce was Batman...though they tried to make you think it!

That scene was really well done. It's a complete misdirect and they pretty much even tell us that the Riddler doesn't care who Batman really is.

I keep looking at the Joker clip, and thinking I might be able to see his face, but I think my mind is probably just playing tricks on me.

Does anyone know if it looked like the Joker was wearing eye shadow/makeup?

I really can't tell. I want to say his skin looks a bit pale but I have a hard time making those details out

I think it's still left up in the air.

Reeves made sure to focus on the active security camera. If Bats was aware of it, so too would Riddler.

It's not the first time Riddler has found out and simply decides to keep it for himself. With the blatant nod to Hush I won't at all be surprised if we may see this plot point come back in sequels.

Maybe...but I think in this case at this moment he doesn't know. I could definitely see him figuring it out though.

Riddler would have no reason to hide the info if he knew especially after Batman spit in his face.

Film was pretty good, not great Pattinson is the best batman but that's not saying much because that other actors playing batman were not great. TDK is a way better film.

Really weird question (but humour me), what song played over the credits? Also is there an opening credits sequence or does it just start aka tdk

Gotta say this now...

I kinda wish the Penguin series was a prequel just so could see more of John Turturro's Falcone, lol

Well Colin Farrell did imply in multiple different interviews that the show would also be showing Oz's origins and how he rose up the criminal ladder in Gotham. So there's definitely a chance we see John Turturro play a guest starring or recurring role as Falcone in the Penguin series

Saw a clip. Way to dark to make out his face for me but I see the movie Thursday so should get a better look.

I actually liked it because it didn’t seem like he was putting on an act with an accent or anything.

I actually liked the laugh. He sounded genuinely crazy. He will have like two years to perfect it but it’s great.

I think I may be in the minority of online fans but I never can get enough of the joker against Batman and I don’t think general fans either. I just think it’s way more interesting than fighting Calendar Man or the Court of Owls.
