I honest to god have no idea. If the movie releases overseas then that's inevitable no matter how fast WB deletes those videos.

I just want confirmation whether or not we we see his face or at the very least see enough glimpses to tell what his face looks like more than anything.

Give Joker a cameo in The Batman, develop his origins in GCPD series, make him a kind-of-Lecter from Silence of the lambs in The Batman 2 to build his link with Bats and find/beat a serial killer he knew in Arkham, and, in the end, make him the main villain of The Batman 3, out or inside Arkham.

And... that's a good arc!

I think Reeves has in mind something similar.
Why putting him in Arkham, otherwise?

IF he's in the movie, absolutely not. That would be up there in terms of desperate marketing ploys such as putting wonder woman and doomsday in your trailer. The film doesn't need joker to promote the movie, and i couldnt imagine they would want any shots of the alleged joker scene to come out.

When is the question. The movie will be shown on March 1st at a big theatre in France. There will also be press screenings in a week or two.

Honestly I doubt it, and I truly hope it doesn't. I'm eager to see the reaction of the audience when he shows up. Myself included!

That's what I'm thinking. Because it's not just that it doesn't sound like Dano to me, it's that it doesn't sound like Dano as Riddler. His Riddler voice is deeper, more monotone. Almost slurred. The inflection given on "riddles" sounds quite different to me. It has more personality.

It did occur to me, and he likely does have a voice changer. It's that sing song quality he gives "riddles" that makes me think it might not be Riddler, though.

I don't think it is a voice changer. I'm assuming that's just Dano's voice when he is talking through the phone at Arkham with Batman. There are multiple takes of that scene with Dano's voice. One more playful and one more creepy/serious. One also sounds much more clear than the other. The playful and serious takes from Dano are just that, different takes, but the distorted voice vs the clear voice, to me at least, is just the difference between being on his side of the glass and being on Batman's side of the glass.

The Joker is one of the things that made TDK so great.
And, if he is in The Batman, it doesn't sound like he is The Lead Villain.

To play devil advocate I think it's very possible that people won't accept a new Joker after Phoenix so easily.

Barry Keoangh will obviously be better but right now he's in a similar situation that Jared Leto was after Heath Ledger.

Joaquin Phoenix Joker really struck a cord with general audiences and thousand of people see him as THE JOKER successor to Heath Ledger.

Joker 2 is also happening too so if Phoenix nocks it out of the park again going full Joker with zero Arthur Fleck it's gonna fuel more competition and pathetic comparisons.


Barry Keoangh has to measure up to a Oscar Worthy phenomenon Joker that is Joaquin Phoenix which won't be a easy task for the General audience's to get on board.

Especially those who still think Joaquin Phoenix should crossover with Pattinson which most of the people I've talked to still are crossing there fingers for.

A "villain" Joker may be less interesting than a "sympathic" Joker despite for the gernal public most of us her preferring the villan side.

I can already see controversity over Barry being bleached instead of using make-up from casuals.

It's gonna be like if Heath Ledger (rest his soul) never passed away and after proving himself and becoming THE JOKER and still continued playing him while another actor is also playing Joker in different series.

I definitely don't think Barry would be as good as Joaquin. Though it's possible... I see it as unlikely

It’s very easy to imagine a better version of Joker for me. The actual performance within the conception is more nebulous.

I think Barry has it in him to be on par or better than Joaquin, but there's no way we'll be seeing his full potential as Joker in this film in such a small cameo.

Joaquin was incredible but was in no way the definitive performance of the character. Joker is inherently incomplete without Batman. Heath’s performance is much more well rounded than Joaquin’s as well.

Maybe he will be a better ''Joker'' in the sense that he's more comic accurate or whatever, but I'm not convinced we will get a performance on level with Joaquin's, which won an oscar. To me, Heath is the best, closely followed by Joaquin. Joaquin's performance was just incredible imo, one of the best in recent years.

Yeah, I've seen absolutely no confirmation on that. Even some articles that were all "ITS CONFIRMED" have no actual source to provide. I know Phillips loves that cash, but I'd hope he wouldn't do it either.

Joaquin is great but I don’t think Fleck is anywhere near his best performance. There’s at least a solid half dozen superior Phoenix performances - not that hard for an incredibly talented actor like Keoghan to top, especially since he’ll probably be working with a far better written screenplay.

are we talking about Barry delivering a better acting performance? or better joker performance?
because Phoenix is hardly the joker in his movie. he's in makeup for barely 20 minutes. i feel like Barry can easily give a better joker performance, acting one? not sure. Joaquin is one of the greats.
