It's just stuff from Nashton's journal. Which is cool to be fair but.....y'know. Eh, it's still neat to see

I'm rewatching RoboCop and I think Reeves has taken something from this too...

The setting, for example: a dirty Detroit with an huge problem of criminals...
Some little things like the sound of the footsteps in Bats first appearence, too.

But also...

Aaaaand I think... The sequel, with all the post-Falcone and post-flood things, could show Batman climbing towards the most high level of the power... Maybe some corrupted multinational company (it would be a natural consequences for TB themes)... Or the Court of Owls...

Oh yeah, I didn't post about it but Robert Pattinson really reminded me of Peter Weller in Robocop several time.
I also noted the heavy steps, but what strikes me the most was that same kind of false stoicism, coldness which is only pierced by a glance, or a pout which translate an interior torment. I don't know if it was a conscious reference but it's a similarity that delighted me!

And in a more anecdotal way...

Sonata In Darkness is hitting the amount of joy / times I’ve listened as the most recent Turnstile and Foxing albums.

It’s just so beautifully sad.

Watched it for the 4th time last night... And it's only because I have a new theater nearby that just opened.

I pretty much just cheered every time Martinez showed up, dude is truly the MVP of the movie.

Martinez is good people. I hate that Bruce didn't wave back to him. What a piece of work that guy is!

I felt bad until I saw the film, where Martinez is initially rude to him in his Batman persona.

After that, I didn't blame Bruce for giving him the cold shoulder.

I loved every character in this film. Even the small ones; Martinez and Colson in particular. Even Savage made an impression with the very few scenes he had.
