The same way they justified the Batpod, I'd imagine.

...looks like the Tumbler is back. I'm not surprised in the least. Fox specifically said that two were always used in the experiments. As I've said all along, you do not make one or two on a government defense contract. You make several for spares.

I can see it in my head; if Batman indeed is "gone" for sometime during the movie, and when he realizes he has to deal with bane once and for all, we see the tumbler roaring through a crumbled Gotham for one last showdown, with the the newly developed bat theme loud in the background!

I can't imagine all the soldiers acting like batman when their tumblers breaks down in the middle east

So I see were getting the tumbler back ehh? Well I'm ok with it but still hoped wed get a new vehicle, maybe it's modified or internally upgraded in some way.

I like both The Tumbler and The Bat-Pod... they suit the tone, style and feel of the Nolan series.

So yeah its fine that they are back, but I would have liked Fox to make some improvements to the car. Perhaps make it a slightly slicker beast.

It'll be shocking if the car, bike AND Bat-suit stay the same as the previous movie... without even slight modifications.

Im disappointed we're getting the tumbler again. I hope there's something else. A plane or something. That's part of the fun of new batman movies. New suit. New Batmobile, etc.

This more or less confirms what everyone believed, that there were two Tumblers. Even though I don't like Bruce's over reliance on Fox, it makes sense that he would acquire the other Tumbler as well. That also means there is a second Batpod.
