there arent many examples of cars that feel almost alive...kitt, herbie...thats the only one i could come up with that is also scary somehow....just trying

You tease you. I was going to post a suggestion for the Lamborghini Egoista but you hit it out of the park. All we know is that General Motors are designing the next batmobile and Nathan Crolwley, the production designer from the TDKT will be providing some input. We need something as sleek as the above but also has the the raw powered look of the Tumbler. It has to look like it can smash through walls and actually be able to do it on film. I can easily imagine it racing through the streets of Metropolis. In fact, didn't Batman use the batmobile in the animated crossover episodes where they fought the League of Assassins on the train?

I could see something similar to "I gotta get one of those!"

Superman- The daily planet is 10 miles away. I don't think you'll get their in time

*Batmobile on remote control comes around the corner*

*Batman gives Superman a look*

This is a good guess. Even the scene idea, which hits a good point. The fact that one of the only things we know about Batman for this movie other than "he will be a seasoned crime-fighter" is that Wayne Enterprises has a SATELLITE. I feel that of all the different portrayals of Batman's character explored in the comics mythology, Batman is really tech-savvy when he is working with the Justice League.

I could guess we could not only be seeing the Batmobile, but the Jet or the Boat or the Bike as well. Seeing as how many CGI scenes there were in Man Of Steel, I feel that a tech-savvy Batman is definitely in the works here. The biggest design element of MoS was Kyrpton in the OPENING of the film and Zod's ship and plot at the END. Especially if rumors of Lex Luthor and LexCorp are in the mix, technology will take on a more of a futuristic science fiction role than the realistic-sci-fi concepts in TDK Trilogy. These DC movies Post-MoS are not supposed to be "realistic" as much as they are supposed to be "contemporary." Dare I say, like what Marvel is doing?"

Marvel may be dominating the film-market, but I don't think DC is really interested in making it a competition. I think they really care and focus on their characters with each iteration and try to create a definitive portrait of their heroes. In my personal opinion, the Marvel films are too comic book central, where as I think DC has a nice harmony in their films. Their Green Lantern film, though, I feel, tried to be too much like a Marvel film.

And why is there so much hate on these boards?! We're getting another Batman film now and we will have another one before we all die in 50 years!

All I'm saying is Batman is definitive. I think he is gonna be a techie this time around.

Love the guns though!
What!

Ugh, Batman doesn't use guns, can we please move away from him using them on his vehicles? Why is it that it's somehow OK for him to use a gun as long as he's not holding it in his hand? Seems like every movie has him using guns on his car or plane or bike!

A thought just occurred to me about what sort of 'conceptual revision' you could apply to the next batmobile, granted this won't float with many but I want to share it anyway. What if the batmobile could change shape? If you want to simplify it, think of it like a mechanical piece of origami or Tetris-like.

If we consider this design:

Imagine it with different armoured plates or segments, just like the Tumbler. Where they can change angle, expand or retract to fit whatever need arises. Perhaps more firepower? For instance if it deploys big weapons either side or if in pursuit it becomes sleeker and more aerodynamic and the armoured plates contract to reduce drag.

I guess it would be kind of like how the transformers morph except without a walking robot/cybernetic organism. I know we've had the 'shields' from the Tim burton Batman films but I'm thinking of something that goes further than that.

This is by far the best

The other one is just based off supercar. I want the batmobile to be sleek, sporty but unique like this one

I agree as well - this is a very unique design! The way the wheel suspension design looks, it may be able to move the "driver pod" area up and down, to provide more or less all-terrain capabilities.

Maybe this type of design would even be able "transform" into the Batwing itself. A convertible vehicle like that would make the most sense when it comes to versatility for Batman in tactical situation IMO.

Good as a Batman-themed supercar, but I don't dig it as an actual Batmobile.

I just make a quick manip based on a rolls royce phantom :

If I find some motivation, I'll probably try to take it further.
