I loved the Tumbler too, it's just that as far as urban assault/tank Batmobiles go, I think the AK Batmobile executes it much better.

Also that side view doesn't really provide a good look at it, I suggest watching the trailer if you want to get a sense of how it looks like in action.

Man that is a beauty. We can't be that lucky to get this in a film.

Snyder got the Owlship right.

He'll get the Batmobile right.

If that line was uttered today in a Batman film, people would lose their ****.

Was it big deal back then?

Eh not really. It was just too jokey and stupid. It was trying to copy the part in Forever where the coolness of the Batcave and the getting suited up montage is deflated by a joke. The Drive thru one somewhat worked in Forever. This one was just lame.

Kilmer's Metropolis line in Forever was way better.

I love the new Arkhamverse Batmobile. It looks like Tumbler!

Yeah, I figure the quality of the film would overpower the moment.

I don't remember Kilmer's line, did it allude to the existence of Superman or just the city itself? I ask because the cool thing about the B&R line is that it calls out Superman.

If I remember correctly, I think Bruce was saying he thought Dick "would be half way to Metropolis by now" or something like that.

Yea that's what Kilmer says.

I actually think that's cooler as it doesn't so much confirm Superman's existence, but it hints at the larger DC Universe.

The way Clooney blurted it out he could have just been talking about the Lois and Clark TV show that was on television in the B&R world.

I didn't give it much thought with both films the first time I saw them. With Forever, it was pretty much "Oh, that's cool." And with B&R, it was pretty much "Hehe." But, I still took both as hints to a larger DC Universe if they wanted to go that route.

It's funny to think how today's audience would've reacted to such allusions.

Damn that Batmobile looks awesome. Ill admit, I really miss the AA Batmobile but this one is packing! Kinda reminds me of this for some reason

Lemme make up for that then...

BTAS>Nolanverse
The amount of realism in the Nolanverse ruined the movies to me
TDK suit sucks

Still though, I love the Nolanverse. They're all fantastic movies, but i still had my problems with it.

The Tumbler was perfect though. But I still prefer Burtonmobile

I'm a Tumbler-lover too! It was the coolest part of that trilogy for sure! It's a tossup for me between that and the Burtonmobile though...both are fantastic!

What if the Batmobile was a Transformer? :wow:

Can someone tell me which side of the new Arkham Knight Batmobile is the front? I can't figure it out.

Not even joking.

Ugh, all these tanks and ridiculous stuff for Batman. I'm just hoping for a customized muscle car.

LOL- that's exactly what I said when I first saw that pic of Bats and the "car" - it looked like a beefy motorcycle at first, but then I watched the trailer and it all made sense. But that pic is still hard to figure out...:woot:

Funny you mention that because when Batman made a sharp turn while driving the Batmobile, it made sounds similar to the Bat-Pod.

^^^the right side is the front. You could notice the white lights in the front and the red lights at the tail of the batmobile... :D

A better side view. That actually reminds me of this popular manip, which just makes me love it even more.
