The Big Bang Theory - Part 2

This episode bugged me at certain parts. Their girlfriends saying "How can they like comics, they are so smart and adults." And Saying the comics they just read were stupid. What annoyed me about those comments, and then the comments by the cop about comic conventions and wanting to call your moms or how all the guys at the comic store were totally shocked by the mere sight of a woman, that just continues the lame stereotype that comics are the children or the illiterate or losers.
.

I think that was the whole point, that in the end the girls were totally involved in the talk about comic books, they became like the guys. So, in a way, they understood them. Would've been nice a colective scene with all of them talking about Thor's Mjolnir.

That would have been awesome. The whole cast arguing about Thor's hammer. Would have loved that. Much more than the carjackers, which was still funny.

I get the point of the episode, they were supposed to feel stupid for liking comics/sci fi and for showing that love outside their circle. But it still felt like they were going to extremes with sweeping generalizations to do that. It also felt like, while they were making those generalizations that comics are for children or losers who can't get girls and live with their mothers, they didn't try counter that with (for example) good points about why they might like comics. The art, the storytelling, the character designs, the moral implications.

I didn't see a problem with it. I think the broad generalizations help because in the end, the girls ended up just like the guys, arguing over comic book interpretations and possible logical inconsistencies.

I was sort of bothered by this episode too. I mean Penny has been in the comic shop a few times. it shouldn't have been that strange to her at least. Even though I did like that they mentioned Thor and especially the Red Hulk.

My fiance loves the show but is definitely not a geek - she said that was the worst one she'd ever seen. The Star Trek riffs didn't do much for her and the entire Thor's-hammer bit just plain bored her.

Thinking about it this morning, if you were a viewer who wasn't "in" on Star Trek or Thor, there really wasn't much for you to laugh at last night. That was an episode made strictly for the geeks to laugh at themselves.

It still marked a series high in ratings.

Check out the difference in muscle size and (overall size) betwen these two on this show!

She use to say she 5 7 in height but now IMBD says she 5 5 in height.

But several other websites have her listed at 5 7 or even 5 6.

But for sure her co star Johnny Galecki (and she dated him for two years in real life) on The Big Bang Theory is 5 5 in heights.

Here a article on there dating life:

I only recently become a big fan. A few weeks ago I looked up all the hard info facts on these two. IMBD datbase website. Said KC was 5 7 and when I look last week they said she was 5 5. Also, this season has the most viewers of any season. I think they change her height for some reason. Other sites still say she 5 7 or 5 6 or 5 6 and half, etc.

But even if she did add 2 inches to her "real" height. I am betting Johnny Galecki is NOT really 5 5 even in height! Everyone adds a little! I am sure he is! Plus she TOWERS over JC no matter what outfit she is in!

I don't get how being a comic book collector automatically must mean that you're into uncool stuff like Magic The Gathering.

Believe me it's not an automatic thing. I'm into comics and really don't understand that Magic game at all.

I only recently became a big final of this series. Which the back seasons on line and such.

This season (6th) had the highest ratings every. Over 20 million viewers on one episode, a new record!

It still marked a series high in ratings.

hmm thanks to those weird post I now know from that bio that Kaley and I share the same birthday (Nov 30th) and I am exactly 2 years older than her. My fave episode so far this season has been the one that Sheldon sexual harrases Alex, that was pure gold

I wasn't really happy with this last episode. Both stories seemed like b-plots that didn't really go anywhere. And It bugged me that Sheldon was besmirching Amy's name so that he wouldn't seem stupid. Just like the guy in high school who tells everyone he slept with the girl and ruins her reputation. I felt like that story could have gone lots of different places, like instead of him saying he had sex, maybe Sheldon realizes that Amy is distracting him from his work. The whole reason for avoiding "trivial things like relationships" was for his work not to suffer. Plus they mentioned in earlier episodes that his work was starting to suffer because he couldn't stop thinking of Amy. Maybe thats what the story should have been. Showing Sheldon developing stronger feelings for her and contemplating ending the relationship. Like the guy who ends things when they get serious, but this time its Sheldon for a different slant on that. And they could have still used the part where Penny asks about him one day having Sex. Would have made for a better episode I thought.

More Photos Showing. The height difference between these two:

You notice the one of John in the pink robe is ONLY wearing sock (i watch this part of that episode in slow-motion) and Kelly MAY be barefoot or have on those skin color shower shoes. But you also notice how he behind the couch and could be standing on something. Kelly is bent over for most of that part. But she still looks way taller than John.

This One From January of 2013

'The Spoiler Alert Segmentation'

You can clearly see the hieght difference!
