man zack is cramming in alot stuff again...this is man of steel all over again...stupid dialogs, alot of destruction, tons a backflash and origins story which is completely redundant an all because the main story is very thin.
especially that scene with ben and the wayne logo on his left laying to the ground...people arent stupid...they know who he is playing...is this an introduction?
for what? blind numb and dumb audiences?.
they totally laugh in your faces with things like that. a joke you need to explain aint a good one...and neither is this movie. eventhough it will make alot of money and thats what people arguing and believe that the most financially succsessfull film is also the best.

I don't think we're getting Doomsday. It seems like the trailer is pointing towards Zod v.2.0 or Lex Luthor's creation with Kryptonian powers.

If it's simply a reanimated Zod. Sure. Zombie Kryptonian = Bizarro. Sure.

But...

If it's Doomsday Genome route... it's Doomsday and it likely won't look like Zod. If it doesn't look human (look like Kal El or Zod, it's not Bizzarro).

It definitely will, especially when the TV spots come out. If Doomsday is the villain, they'd be stupid not to tease him. People love Batman fighting Superman and Wonder Woman somewhere there in the mix. The idea of the three of them putting their differences aside to fight a monster together? That's the real hook. The "Dawn of Justice" subtitle is more important than Batman and Superman's differences. This movie is about them coming together, we all know they're going to hate each other at first.

Just reiterating that Batman is the big draw here. Batman is the enemy in this "Superman" movie. That's the real reason people are coming to see the movie. The tag line, the history, shows people that they will be bffs once the film is over. I'd imagine most assume a third act villain will be needed for the inclusion of WW. Keep it secret. I dunno, I can't imagine people being on the fence about this movie UNTIL they find out Doomsday's in it.

As others have stated, I have hard time that they wouldn't have mentioned anything about Doomsday or any other villain at this point if they were in the film. Usually the villain is a huge selling feature of these films, and having Doomsday on film would be a pretty big deal I think. So much so, I don't know if they'd want to give up valuable screen time to lex,bats,ww, etc without properly showcasing him. I could see a cameo or a hint near the end though.

He's definitely the draw of the movie, but I wouldn't classify him as the villain, especially the way he's shown in the trailer. The trailer is basically from Batman's point of view, if anything Superman is portrayed as the villain of the two. They showed us the reasons Batman wants to eliminate Superman, and they did a great job. In Batman's shoes, this alien is definitely classified as a threat considering the casualties from his fight with Zod. It's the movie's job to shed light on Superman to Batman. That's when Doomsday could come in handy. To show Batman that Superman has every intention on keeping the world safe.

It's not a matter of being on the fence until Doomsday is shown, it's about missing a huge marketing opportunity. Batman v Superman is enough to sell the audience, but a common enemy for them to come together and fight is icing on the cake.

The last part is right, it's definitely enough to sell the film. I don't agree with the first part because as long as they don't give away the movie it's not going to do anything but bring more people in to see the movie. It may not be a huge demographic... But anyone who isn't into Comic Book movies can appreciate a monster CGI fest, pun intended.

This thought came to me... If "Desert Storm" Batman vs. "The Super Troopers" is a glimpse of the future of a world devastated by a "Bizarre" version of Supes, then I think this may also be a part of the film where we get some of the connective tissue of the wider universe with the other heroes being referenced as the forces that opposed and fell against "Superman" leaving few left alive. Assuming that... Perhaps the version of Aquaman that was released is from that future?
