Honestly I can't tell what that is. Could it be a humanoid form? Maybe. Could it be a rock or other geological structure? Maybe. Is it a statue, big piece of corral, a whale turd? Maybe, maybe, maybe...

Maybe Lex has nothing to do with it. Perhaps Aquaman is just unconscious, knocked out from the effect of the world engine perhaps, and a young diver wakes him up.

Look at the screen behind Alfred:

Look at this image from MOS when Clark was testing his abililty in the Artic:

So Bruce Wayne's satelite picked up Superman in Artic?

I'm no expert but, satelite wouldn't get that shot of him right?

I was just analysing the trailer again and noticed that Batman has a holster strapped to his right leg in the desert scene, it looks like something is holstered in it and it doesn't look like it could be his grapple gun. If anyone can confirm it to be a real pistol that'd be greeat

lol well I was generalising. But that TV shot in BvS is definitely the same one from MOS. Maybe a mobile phone photo taken by one of the polar bears? heh

Look like some kind of shot gun strapped to Batman's leg.

Yeah it definitely is.

Hmm...well then does that add anything to the idea of that scene being a dream?

The Batman one? I believe that the whole movie consist of a sequence of dreams, then Snyder will pop in the end telling the audience, "The joke is on you!". lol.

hahahaha wouldn't that be just faaaantastic..

You're overthinking it: Wayne is watching Man of Steel to get amped up for Batman v Superman!

That's Bruce's desktop wallpaper.

I only have genetic templates for Superman knock offs...Shazam, Prime, Hyperion, Apollo, Mighty Mouse, Super Grover...

You missed Super Goof !

He's stalking Supes cause he thinks he's kinda hot.

Carrie Farris was Bruce undercover all along.

That is crazy prep time! I mean talk about method acting :hehe:

I really dont think it is...I think you guys are convincing yourself something is there when it isnt. :)

Think about it, why would Aquaman be trapped...and not only trapped but trapped UNDER WATER! He is the King of the Seas and has telepathy with animals you telling me he needs some random little kid to come find him and save him? :D

I think it is more plausible somehow Lex captured Arthur and kept him in a lab and I truly dont believe that at all ;)

Snyder is going to want Aquaman be a badass...nothing negates that more than being captured and having a bag put over his head...in water.

I just have a problem with the Government having Zod's corpse...I mean how could the explain that Superman would let that happen. He know's first hand what humans are capable of doing....

I'm not a fan of the idea myself. However... Given the controversy of MOS, do we really want to think that Superman instead of helping with survivors after he kills Zod and is comforted by Lois for a moment DID'NT go out and help with the survivors of the Black Zero attack? Would he really have taken the time to pick up Zod's body and just flown to a remote place first? No, I suggest that he was all over rescuing people and helping with the cleanup. The government got their hands on the corpse and what ever else they could cart away. Once the job of helping civilians was taken care of THEN Supes could take time to get the K-Tech and Zod's corpse out of there. I also don't see him making an effort to take what the government had back since that could get dicey real fast. Again... I would have preferred him taking custody of the whole kit and kaboodle but... Cest la vie.

He probably let Swanwich have it.

I have enough issues with the trailer, but I don't get why that would be one. Handling of the corpse would be the US's business, given that they were the attacked country. It would be their right to try and find weaknesses and develop ways to defend themselves in the future, in case there were more bad Kryptonians out there. Superman obstructing that for his own sake would be a little dickish.

But... It does pose a risk of scientists reverse engineering the K-Tech ect. Jor-el said Clark should help the human race steer away from the fate of Krypton and it's society. Leaving all that tech and Zod's corpse laying around is just tempting fate. Again though, I don't see Superman taking what the government had back once they have it. It gets dicey real fast as I said.

It's not make or break for me, but I would have preferred it done differently.

That would be good. I really think that if they showed Superman aid in the wreckage a lot of good can be done from a PR perspective.

What are your issues with the trailer or link me to your post? I like to hear from the other side without going into the skepticism thread.

I would imagine some associative guilt happening there. All this destruction happened by the hands of his own race. Earth helped defeat them, now this stuff is on their turf, it's their bounty, it's for them to do as they see fit. He can't begin his tenure as a hero being authoritative about what they can and cannot do. At that point it would be a stretch to imagine that they could create a Doomsday out of Zod's body, or a kryptonite, having never happened before.

Same old. Morose Superman. There's very little "character" there that isn't reliant upon costume and CGI, even for a trailer. WW's colors. Effects issues that others have mentioned.
