In no way whatsoever is that true. When Marvel steals from DC, it improves upon the original creation. Deadpool is better than Deathstroke, and Thanos is better than Darkseid.

Thanos is far deeper character than Darkseid with multiple deeply woven motivations behind everything he does, while Darkseid is just a warlord.

Yeah, well so far he is just a fat piece **** sitting on a floating rock piece. Lawd.

I feel like you just do searches for posts containing "Thanos" and proceed to jockey him wherever possible.

He got off his ass in AoU though. And he gets points for the Micheal Jackson style single glove routine :woot:

But Darkseid don't need any jewelry to kick ass.

So ultimately, Darkseid> Thanos is the correct math.

And that is a really lousy pic of Kim Cattrall you changed to in your avy, Narci. :o

Thanos please stop using the internet. No wonder it's taking you so long to collect the gems.

"I'll do it myself...in three years." :o

The start of this post reads like a parody.

Thanos is like "I love you death, please, love me back and i will totally destroy everyone". He's a *****.

On the other hand, you have darkseid, who is the embodiment of order, in its most tyrannic take. The anti life equation is utterly terryfiying.

Both are great villains in their own right. Stuff with Thanos is The Infinity Gauntlet series was awesome but I'd take Darkseid over him. Just my 2 cents.

Not sure if this has been posted but this could be a really cool secret addition. (obviously not with the actor from the tv show)

Here's some ideas on it:
Green latern fires the kryptonite arrow in TDKR which this movie is mostly adapting from. They would want to keep this a secret because knowing they were casting green arrow would let a lot of people know this scene was probably gonna happen. And in the comics he lost an arm by this point of his career so what if they just made an adjustment and made made him with lose his legs aka Scooter who we dont know who hes playing yet. Am I nuts?

Mr. Amell,

Please don't.

Thank you in advance.

I beg to differ:

Darkseid > Thanos
Deathstroke > Deadpool
Batman > Moon Knight
Green Arrow > Hawkeye
Superman > Gladiator; Hyperion; Sentry
Flash > Quicksilver
Atom > Antman
Doom Patrol > Original X-Men
Wonder Woman > Marvel's new Thor is obviously "their" WW :cwink:

"My fictional bad guy could kick your fictional bad guys a$$! :o"

SMH...

I'm definitely more of a DC guy but I've always preferred Thanos to Darkseid, even if he is a ripoff. That said, if Marvel doesn't eventually introduce the Silver Surfer, the Thanos storyline will never be as epic as it should be.

I don't think it's by choice, Fox owns the rights don't they?

Sadly, the Silver Surfer will never appear in the MCU. Fox has the movie rights to the Fantastic Four and SS, Galactus, Kang, the Skrulls and the rest of FF's villains.

I've heard the Marvel actually got the rights back to Silver Surfer, though I don't know if that's true.

Weren't the Skrulls the aliens in The Avengers?

That may be a good thing...Marvel doesn't really have a good track record when it comes to villains
