The animated Bruce looked younger to me than I think Ben Affleck's Bruce is supposed to be. I think I read somewhere that BvS Bruce is supposed to be around 45. Animated Bruce looked more to me like he was around 35, maybe late 30s.

Does it really matter if the age difference isn't exactly the same as the animated version? 20-25 years older is plenty old enough. Or do we need Alfred serving tea with a walker?

I'm not even sure what the bone of contention is exactly?

I always thought he was like 41.

Like I said, it's Irons, so I'm not complaining. I just feel if they hadn't gotten Irons, they should have gone for someone at least slightly older. Hell, if Norman Lloyd can play tennis twice a week in his 100s, Alfred can serve tea in his 70s.

I could have sworn I saw a remark by one of the B:TAS creators saying he was a mid 30's Batman before.

Alfred DID start out 100, but BatGod created an anti-aging potion in his BatLab, and Alfred is now getting younger, not older.

The Bat solo film will have Alfred at 10years old, becoming Robin. It will be subtitled "the curious case of Alfred Pennyworth"

What happens after ten years ? :hmm

^ Batman and a Baby

Affleck's costars for that film will be Tom Selleck, Ted Danson, and Steve Guttenberg.

I can't wait for this movie...there are a few things that bug me...Lex Luthor...still not convinced. I don't think they picked a good actor for the role.

But also...Batman's age. He's already graying and Luthor is still young. I really feel like they should have brought Batman's age closer to Superman's age. Likewise with Luthor.

Eisenberg is basically the same age as Cavill, whether luthor will be is another story.
batman is only in his mid 40's which is just a couple years older than affleck. i suppose he could've been 39 or so or they could've easily put less gray in hair, but even afflecks hair is very salt and pepper when its in its natural state.

I thought I read somewhere that Batfleck will be 43 years old in this film and has been Batman for 20 years, starting out at 23

Ok. I'll take your word for it. I think I just saw something somewhere, comic-related, that said he was 41.

Getting back to Rumor/Speculation, I've been looking at that wave thing. I don't think Wonder Woman causes it, as her gauntlet clash thing creates a shockwave in front of her. This wave thing is almost electricity-like energy in nature, and is certainly the cause of the fiery landscape. But, it doesn't seem like an effect that would be associated with any of the rumored villains so far.

I'm thinking it's basically this:

And that all three heroes fight an enemy from Apokolips.

maybe it's a EMP blast? Bats could have one to take down a bunch of vehicles or robots.

That's quite the excessive depiction of an EMP blast... Oh, and that is destructive. EMPs aren't. They don't break up the ground and destroy everything in their way. Anyway, I just thought it's interesting how that wave looked. I believe it's the cause of all that fiery destroyed landscape, and I don't think Batman, Superman, or Wonder Woman would cause that, and I don't think Doomsday or Bizarro-Zod would be able to do something like that, not with that wave thing.

looking at it frame by frame it looks like there's a force field trying to contain it but not doing such a great job. it pulses several times very brightly, each time expanding. looks like plasma inside it. it's melting everything it's coming into contact with.

That would be awesome. Darkseid looks so much more frightening than his disco-knockoff Thanos. I love virtually everything Starlin's done, but Darkseid > Thanos, by far.

In no way whatsoever is that true. When Marvel steals from DC, it improves upon the original creation. Deadpool is better than Deathstroke, and Thanos is better than Darkseid.

Thanos is far deeper character than Darkseid with multiple deeply woven motivations behind everything he does, while Darkseid is just a warlord.
