Sadly, the Silver Surfer will never appear in the MCU. Fox has the movie rights to the Fantastic Four and SS, Galactus, Kang, the Skrulls and the rest of FF's villains.

They have the Shi'ar too, I think.

Yep, they do. Basically, any character intrinsic to the X-comics that wasn't an already pre-established major.

Purely speculation. If it happens, though, I'm all for it. Zack will probably want/need a break after Justice League. Or maybe not. The guy seems to have a lot of energy.

I want a different person to helm MoS two. George would be a very nice choice. He could also direct JL part 2 and make up for his JL Mortal project.

I forget who suggested the idea on here first, but now I'm thinking it may be right. Batman recovers the Zod suit and creates his own powersuit that can make him more formidable against Superman. Lex recovers the body of Zod for experimentation and creates something based off of his genetics. Notice they only show Shannon's face, not Lex with any technology. We can rule Bizarro out because he obviously is made from Superman's dna, not Zod's.

I don't like the idea of Superman vs Zod again. Even if it is a Zombie Zod or Cloned Zod.
I do like a Superman clone that Lex can control but it adapts because it has Doomsday switches thrown on in it's DNA sequencing (either through Lex's scientists not knowing what they were doing when creating him or the Zod AI infiltrated their computers and controlled the cloning ) and it breaks free of Lex's control (develops immunity to kryptonite) and goes into full rampage mode.

Me either. I prefer the idea Lex studies Zod's genetic makeup and tailors his weaponry, and whatever else he has planned, accordingly.

Seriously though, I just want a villain that fits and hasn't been used before in a Superman movie.

What if the big bad in this movie is a completely original character created for this movie, so we don't use any of the popular villians until justice league and the solo movies?. It would make sense given that the hook of this movie is batman and superman finally in the same universe. They don't need another hook to get us excited.

That would honestly be disappointing. Superman has as rich a rogues gallery as any other superhero, and so far we've gotten Lex Luthor, Zod, Nuclear Man and Gus Gorman. It's time some of these other characters were shown some love.

I disagree. I love Superman's rogues just as much as you do but id rather keep cool villians like metallo, parasite, brainiac, darkseid for a solo superman movie or justice league. Plus people always say Superman's rogues is not that great compared to someone like batmans. So why not try and create new villians that can maybe become popular so we can expand Superman's enemies and give him more diversity.

I think it will be a new take on an old villain. It will probably be Doomsday, Metallo, Parasite or even as I've been recently thinking Amazo.

Amazo would be kind of interesting. Also a neutral enough villain to use that won't effect Supermans other rogues being in sequels.
