Well Afflecks films have reportedly been moved furthet down to allow a trilogy of films

Production on those movies didn't get pushed the release dates did. The Acciuntant is done filming so affleck is done with that and that push back has nothing to do with anything. Live by Night starts in November and had a release date of next October, WB is giving him more time to work on that movie NOT more time to do batman

Guys this news does not predict the films quality but instead relves the fact that thier is strong faith in the film

well i was talking about whether or not a studio has faith in their film and trust the creative team enough to not interfere and what not, i mean not to start any competitive debates between rival studios here but wasn't one of the main issues with F4 fox meddling with its development last minute even behind tranks back?

You talking crap again I see. When I explained to you his movies release dates have moved that's it. One date to a movie which he finished shooting and would come out in January 2016 now moved to October 2016.

The other he start's shooting in a couple of months (Live by Night) Which comes out in 2017. Both of which has NOTHING to do with this trilogy crap ONE site reported in which none of the trades have backed up.

From what I have heard Fox's meddling was needed to even have the film they got. Trank's version would have been horrid.

WB isnt going to do anything to this movie, they are banking on it so much they went into production for the next phase already.

Wasn't it reported they cried and applauded after the first screening of Dark Knight Rises? What a bunch of pansies.

Not to sound pessimistic but I wouldn't give it too much weight, it seems like a marketing ploy by WB, it is unlikely that a 'near-finished copy' would be ready so early, being a Zack Snyder movie, it is likely to have tons of CGI and computer imagery, and its almost 8 months before release, while effects in these kinds of movies are mostly finished just a month before release, sometimes being polished to days before release

Also its not a question of whether WB will make Affleck's Batman a centre of their universe, its a question of whether he will accept such a role?

Affleck in recent years has been changing himself into a more 'director role' with a few acting role in between, mostly in his own movies, he has told that he only took the 'Gone Girl' role because he wanted to work with David Fincher, and he probably took the Batman role because..well its Batman, I doubt he would accept such heavy responsibility which would keep him busy for the nest 10-15 years

He said he wanted to learn how to direct such a big-budget movie. Anyway, I agree with you. I think that rumor about Batman trilogy is nothing but a bull.

Actors like Chris Evans are already fed up of the MCU and just wants to finish his contract and go to directing, and this is when he is a completely unproven director with a panned movie and also doesn't have any proper acting roles apart from MCU, its unlikely someone as talented as Affleck would like to be tied down

Yeah, he definitely had to sign a long contract. He knows DCEU is going past phase 1. And I can see him just acting in at least 1 of the solos and not directing.

Also, is it possible that SS is going to get a sequel because jada mentioned wanting to play Vixen in a SS2.

Oh, I don't worry. As a matter a fact I am not partial to the idea of new Batman trilogy being planned so soon. Despite the fact that I am Batman fan.

Well that batman trilogy could be planned through multiple phases like lets say a film every 3-4 years

Besides lets not forget that affleck is a HUGE batman fan, i mean the dude built a batcave in his house years before he was cast as the cape crusader

So: batman fanboy + Professional director = win win for all of us!
