I've never really delved into the Animated side of things in my more mature years. I grew up watching the occasional Superman and Batman Animated Series when it was on.

What are the best Superman or best overall animated films? I bought Superman vs Doomsday and absolutely ended up loving Iron Giant. Other than that, I haven't really dug in.

Superman:Red Son (motion comic)

All Star Superman and Superman vs The Elite (based on What's so funny about truth justice and the american way?). These are the best Superman animated films in my opinion.

Great. Thanks. That list doesn't surprise me as those 3 are one of my favorite storylines. I'll pick those up and grab a season or two of the Animated Series as well. I'll probably end up grabbing TDKR's as well. Always hear great things...the first part anyhow.

...ohhhh. , you said woman-izer...

sorry, I mis-read...

Superman The Animated series is really great, the only drawback in that series is that Superman himself is under-powered, but there is gradual progression from STAS to JL to JLU.

I am pretty sure now that Wondy is the one flying the batwing and shooting those thugs with it in the teaser trailer. Canonically, she is supposed to know how to fly a plane (with the invisible jet and all that) and she doesn't have a "no killing" rule.

I was suspecting this ever since the teaser trailer (as when I started thinking who could fly the plane and use it to kill thugs, it was a pretty short list of people), but what made me more certain is the fact that we see her in what seems to be the same location in front of the very damaged batwing in the second trailer:

And it is the batwing and not the batmobile, as it can be seen when compared with the concept art:

Opening of the cockpit has exactly the same angular shape as batwing's cockpit does (batmobile's cockpit is different) and the front looks the same.

It is very damaged though. There are no wings on it and cockpit has been ripped off as well. The front also appears to be cut like with a heat vision. If Superman destroys both batmobile and batwing, Bats is going to be very pissed. :hehe:

nice! I didn't notice that, but you may be onto someting!

Superman trashing the batmobile and WW crashing the batwing ? Batfleck won't be happy. :woot: It's an interesting idea, though. I can definitely see it happen.

First I was telling myself "trailers are often misleading, Batman is probably somewhere in vicinity", so I was basically fighting against the possibility of coming to a conclusion that was potentially predetermined ever since the teaser trailer, but it definitely looks like someone grounded the aircraft and she just jumped out of it to kick their asses.

And the Wayne Ent. building and Wayne satellite destroyed in MOS by Superman... by the end of DCEU, Bruce will become bankrupt. :woot:

Let's say that's true. That's means they work as a team. We see Bruce and Diana have a lot of scene's together at different events. What if Bruce manages to talk her into fighting Superman together ? Bruce has no chance on his own and Zack said the armor suit is only to "buy him some time". Time for what ? WW to arrive ? That final battle might really be between Supes and WW.

I always assumed that mech-suit was buying him time until kryptonite kicks in and affects Supes, but if it is indeed Superman they are fighting against there and the trailer wasn't just cut to make it look that way, then it would seem that Batman and Wonder Woman have indeed formed an alliance against him.

There is a fact that this film introduces two "weapons" that could kill Superman - not just kryptonite, but Wonder Woman with her magical weaponry as well.

Snyder already said that Aquaman's trident could hurt Superman and I've no doubt that Wonder Woman's sword could do so as well, since he is vulnerable to her weapons in comics, same as he is vulnerable against magic itself

I was just thinking that the other day Wolfie! I really think that's the case now. Btw, didn't it say in one of those magz that Bruce and Diana "Know of eachother"? I was thinking that maybe they had known each other for a while, but, isn't Bruce shocked of a super powered being from Superman?

I was thinking that too, Gal did give a bit of a smirk/look when Zack said "buy him some time", but why would Batman have to wait for WW, are they bad at time management? :cwink:

Yeah, it did. I believe Affleck said it in Entertainment Weekly that they know each other's secret identities when talking about the scene in a museum. I will try to find the article.

And it also struck me as odd that he would go against Superman for being super powered, but would, for some reason, be cool with Wonder Woman. I guess there's something in the story we don't know... I mean, there's plenty we don't know, but this would appear to have something to do with Bruce's motivations.

Yeah, maybe Diana was like, "Dude, I've been around this place for like over 200 years! I'm all for peace".

:hehe: "And if that doesn't convince you, there is the fact that I'm being played by an ex Miss Israel". :oldrazz:

But yeah, the fact that she's been here for a while and didn't become an evil overlord should speak in her favor. Not sure that would convince Bruce though.

If this ends up being the case, that's some fine manipulating by Lex getting the heroes to fight each other. And look at the destruction they caused. Imagine the mess they'll make when they start fighting villains. :woot:

Plus, she's hot. Why would he fight her ? :woot:

Well, Lex is intelligent enough to pull off such manipulation, that is for sure.
