The clone idea just doesn't sit with me - once cloning is out there, what's stopping them cloning every movie star, celeb, POTUS, fossils, even Batman and other heroes?

Plus, how does the clone manage to be the exact age and likeness, sure it's a clone, but to style his hair exactly like supes, i don't know - i always thought a clone would be more, rugged/raw not so much a cartoon like Bizarro but more he and frankenstein combined.

Oh, also--This is precisely why Batman and Superman both need to stop Lex and shut down the cloning! It is technology that if it falls into the wrong hands--not just Lex's but a whole host of others (including the government)--could have epically disastrous results.

If we are speculating Batman's nightmare involves Superman ruling the world as a tyrant, maybe the Parademons posted above imply that his nightmare doesn't end there. Superman could rule as much as he wants, but Darkseid is on a collision course, and the Earth will fall that much faster ruined and divided.

Of course, that wouldn't be factored in at all in THIS movie, but if JL1 IS Darkseid... this'd be very good set-up.

Not that I want Darkseid. Meh.

There's most likely only 2 Villains you can have in a Justice League movie that causes all the Heroes to come together Darkseid or Brainaic.

I disagree, I would prefer CADMUS, YJ's The Light, or an A-List Injustice League. It kinda bothers me we are following BvS with 'the worst of the worst villains' like... El Diablo! Slipknot and Killer Croc!

SO... Why is Batman dreaming about Apokalips? How is something like that even possible for the mortal, human Bats?

I totally admit, this trailer throws most of my speculation out the window... But it didn't replace it with much concrete. Now there's more questions.

I'm actually curious about one thing now. Since Wonder Woman is confirmed to take a part in the fight against Doomsday, why wouldn't she be at Clark's funeral with Bruce when he dies?

Let that particular dog lie for right now lee. We don't KNOW what you are positing here at all. Doomsday, especially with WW and Bats side by side doesn't have to equal Clark dying.

On any other day, I would agree with everyone else in the mindset that just because Doomsday is in the film, it doesn't mean that Superman will die, let alone when he has Batman and Wonder Woman with him...similar to when they took on an army of Doomsdays on Diana's Island (Superman/Batman: Apocalypse).

The whole thing that's throwing that out of the window for me is the funeral pictures that we've seen of Bruce/Lois/Martha/Perry being present at Smallville's cemetery.

That's like the biggest spoiler someone could have revealed about this film, almost akin to when it was revealed by spy photos that Marion Cotillard wasn't just playing a regular civilian in "The Dark Knight Rises" .

Am I the only one who has a feeling this was not the trailer that will be released? I noticed the trailer is up everywhere but the official North American WB account. I watched it on WB UK's YouTube page. Usually the international trailers vary slightly.

Because I don't think this is Batmans dream. It maybe as speculated earlier Wonder Woman's vision. If she's the gateway drug to JL...then she may be gathering the guys up to battle Darkseid...which could mean the foe of her solo might not be Ares and could be Darkseid related.

That'll probably be a plot point for Justice League. Bats and WW gathering heroes to make up for Supe's absence. Superman gets resurrected somehow and saves the day in the 3rd act of Justice League.

Hence why I detest the idea so much because it's a ****** plot point in my honest opinion.

Superman won't be a founding member alongside his teammates and it's insulting to the other heroes if they have to get together because only by being together can they compensate for one Kryptonian hero.

Ok and this is just me spitballing...this is a future where Darkseid conquers the Earth. With no Justice League...Superman cant fight an army by himself and so maybe leads an army of humans against Darkseid. In this future Batman and Superman are antagonistic towards each other. WW is shown the vision so that she can unite the two and form the Justice League to fight Darkseid

With Bat's "I thought she was with you line" I think that is because after the party scene and the ball room scene he knows who she is and all that (because it said that in the ew article) he probably thinks she is there on Superman's side. That's how I looked at it anyway..
