Speaking of Doomsday's clone, we did get this easter egg for MoS:

I would much rather that Doomsday be an actual creation of Krypton/Bertron rather than made on Earth. As that way he'll be an ancient threat that could have wreaked destruction across the galaxy for centuries. This could be a lead-in to the Justice League films! In addition, giving Doomsday an extraterrestrial origin makes him more of an elemental force of nature rather than a man-made 'terminator' if you will. Further to that it continues the theme of Krypton's past coming to haunt Superman (and the Earth) as we saw with General Zod and the other Kryptonians.

In my mind/plot Doomsday was created on Krypton and has had encounters with Darkseid already. Darkseid, unable to defeat or control the monster, figures out how to make clones of the Doomsday and use them for his purposes. Now these Doomsday clones aren't nearly as powerful as the real one but enough to give Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman a good fight. Then later after the Justice League movies and after Darkseid has been defeated, Darkseid sends the real Doomsday to Earth to wreak havoc and gives the plot for the next solo Superman film with the Death of Superman arc

It's on the Blu Ray extras disc. It's an in universe documentary talking about what they've learned from studying the Kryptonian tech that has been left behind, especially the little beetle ship Zod flew to collect the ancient colonial scout ship.

I would love to see Doomsday on screen eventually. I definitely would not want him as the threat/killing Supes in BvS. I would love if after the main story is resolved we see Doomsday in a ship/capsule headed towards Earth. He can then be in JL or in the next solo MoS flick.

Three part movie. Introduce Bats... Wonder Woman, other meta's... lay ground work that Superman isn't 100% accepted by all yet... have Bats and Supes fight... test each other, respect each other.. most alpha's will respect and befriend each other after a fight...

then Lex unleashes doomsday to make Supes look bad. Justice league forms to help Superman defeat doomsday something along those lines..

I'd imagine that something has to bring Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman, Batman out and what better way than to help Superman defeat a menacing enemy that Supes can't handle on his own?

my theory
Doomsday in BvS is a clone made by Darkseid. He sent him to the earth to test the power of earthly superheroes. Superman and Batman (WW too) defeat Doomsday clone. They realizes that they have to form a team to confront this kind of attacks and formed JL. end of BvS

JL 1
Darkseid comes to earth and fights with original Doomsday which destroys JL and kills Superman at the end

JL2 Superman come back and JL defeat Darkseid.

It just seems like a ton of stuff jammed into one movie... By the way people/actors are talking about the movie it's going to blow all of our socks off. Goosebumps thinking about Supes and Bats going at it, then coming together to save the world as a team.

So the BvS battle and then Superman, and whoever decides to help him, v Doomsday all in the same movie? Nobody's body is ready for that. The universe would implode.

It's like in a western - the two good guys have a grudge against each other and have a barroom brawl at the midpoint of the film. Then they settle their differences and head off to the gunfight with the bad guys.

It's kind of a cliche if you ask me. I'd love to see Bats watch Doomsday beat the snot out of Supes and not do anything, then jump in when he sees civilians are in danger. The whole, "put aside our differences and fight together for the greater good in such a short period of time!" crap is going to annoy the hell out of me if that's the way they go with it. I want the animosity to remain all the way to the second/third Justice League movie. That's how it would really go down.

Yeah. I mean, Doomsday's origin in the comics is actually pretty cool but it's not really something you need to go all that far into in a movie. He doesn't have much personality beyond KILL KILL KILL HAHAHAHA. He's basically an evil version of the Hulk, but with no alter ego.
