I've been loving Alan Davis' Steve Rogers. A lot. Especially in the Avengers Prime mini. I picked up Avenging Spider-Man #5, and I think Yu may be my new favorite Cap artist. To the point where I was wanting to draw little hearts around him on my iPad while I was reading.

I drew that right after I had read the first ish of Ultimates 2.
I tried mixing 616 and Ultimates look together, which is the direction the films went with as well.

It's like he tried to draw it with with caps body turned away with cap looking back. Then he forgot and started drawing the chest as if cap was facing forward and it created a weird wide body effect.

Even if you trim it down it still looks bad.
